World of Stands is a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure-inspired fighting game where you acquire Stands with unique abilities and battle other players.
Stand Acquisition
Stands are obtained through the Arrow system. Using a Stand Arrow on your character grants a random Stand. Stand rarity is tiered, and higher-rarity Stands generally have stronger overall ability sets. Reroll your Stand using additional Arrows until you obtain one that matches your preferred play style.
Ability Learning
Each Stand has a unique move set with multiple active abilities. Spend time in private servers learning the input and timing for every ability your Stand has before entering competitive matches. Abilities you don't use reliably might as well not exist in a fight.
Stand Awakening
Some Stands can be Awakened after meeting specific conditions, dramatically increasing their power and changing some of their abilities. Research the Awakening requirements for your Stand early and work toward them alongside normal progression. Awakened Stands have a notable advantage over their base versions in PvP.
Combo Routing
Winning fights in World of Stands depends on landing your highest-damage combo consistently. Identify which of your Stand's abilities creates openings — stuns, knockdowns, and speed moves — and build your combo around them. Inconsistent ability timing leads to dropped combos that give opponents recovery windows.
Time Stop and Special Abilities
Certain Stands like The World and Star Platinum have time-stop mechanics that freeze all players briefly. These are among the most powerful abilities in the game and must be countered with specific timing or your own time-stop. Learn when your opponent's time stop is available and play more defensively during those windows.
