Helmet Shop & Accessories

The Helmet Shop sells cosmetic headgear for your character. Helmets are purely visual โ€” they do not affect speed, handling, or any performance stats.

The Beta V1.1.4 and V1.1.6 updates added broader accessory batches including helmets, rider styles, and modification types. These are collected through in-game events and limited-time shop rotations.

If RP is tight, skip cosmetics and prioritize vehicles and tuning first. Underglow, custom rims, and accessories can wait until income is stable.

Anomaly System

Anomalies are hidden secrets and unusual in-game events scattered across the maps. Discovering them earns unique badges and is part of DDS's exploration/roleplay layer alongside racing.

1. Known Anomaly Badges

BadgeDescriptionAwards (approx.)
Anomaly Collector: Brainrot!General anomaly collection badgeโ€”
Anomaly Barista Visitor: Unknown Entity!Visit a specific anomaly location tied to the Barista zone71,000+
Anomaly Barista Menu: Cursed Recipe!Discover a hidden cursed menu anomaly in the coffee shop system50,000+
Barista Hunter: 13 Anomalies!Find all 13 Barista anomalies~87 (very rare)

The "Barista Hunter: 13 Anomalies!" badge has only ~87 awards, making it one of the rarest badges in the game. The anomaly chain follows a sequence: Visitor โ†’ Cursed Recipe โ†’ Hunter (13 total).

2. Finding Anomalies

  • Anomalies spawn in both the main map and Surakarta
  • Event anomalies have their own spawn zones that vary per event
  • Community Discord maps and YouTube guides are the most reliable way to track anomaly locations โ€” the game intentionally keeps them hidden
  • During anomaly events (e.g., "ANOMALI DDS TERBARU 2026"), special event crate zones activate with bonus rewards for anomaly discovery

Getting Started โ€” Beginner Tips

  • Redeem codes first. Active codes give up to 100M+ RP each โ€” redeem everything before spending a single RP.
  • Don't buy the first vehicle you see. Dealerships are spread across the map with different inventories. Compare at least 3 before committing.
  • Learn the tune system early. Gear ratios matter more than vehicle price. A well-tuned mid-tier bike beats a stock expensive car.
  • Start with a motorcycle. Bikes are cheaper, teach tuning faster, and are competitive in drag races. Mid-tier motorcycles cost around 15โ€“30M RP.
  • Stack income sources. Combine race RP, daily quests, hidden crates, and job roles for the fastest progression.
  • Explore Surakarta. The V1.11 map expansion has dealerships, secrets, and hidden crates most players miss.
  • Use the in-game phone. Added in V1.11 โ€” easy to overlook but has useful features.
  • Vehicle stuck? Tap the exit icon and respawn the vehicle. If your character falls off, press the Jump key to recover.
  • Test tunes in free roam first. Always validate your gear ratio setup on a straight road before entering competitive races.
  • Save cosmetics for later. Prioritize engine and forced induction upgrades over underglow, rims, and custom plates until your garage is stable.
  • Play with friends. DDS is significantly more enjoyable in groups โ€” convoy sessions, crew events, and private server races are a core part of the community.

Crew System

The Crew system was introduced in Beta V1.1.5 (Big Map x Event Update) and refined in subsequent patches.

  • Form or join a crew with other players
  • Participate in crew events for bonus RP rewards
  • Crew activity is part of Surakarta's mid-game roleplay layer
  • The code NEWMAPNEWCREWFEATURES (30M RP) was released alongside the system to celebrate its launch
  • Private servers support clan/crew events, convoy sessions, and update testing in controlled environments
  • Surakarta side roads are the primary zone for crew-focused exploration and event activity

Detailed crew mechanics (member caps, crew ranking, event types) are not yet fully documented in public English guides โ€” the ADV Gamers Discord (mostly Indonesian) is the best source for specifics.

Seasonal & Limited Events

Limited vehicle strategy: Limited vehicles leave permanently when the event ends. If unsure which to buy: highest base top speed for Road Race versatility, or highest base acceleration for drag-focused builds.

FAQ

Q: What is the best car in Drag Drive Simulator? A: A well-tuned vehicle beats an expensive stock one every time. DragSpec Pass vehicles are consistently top-tier for competitive drag. Start with what you can afford and focus on tuning first.

Q: What is the best starter vehicle? A: A mid-tier motorcycle โ€” the Kawasaki ZX25R or PCX 160 are the most recommended. Bikes cost far less than cars, respond more dramatically to gear ratio tuning, and a tuned bike beats a stock car worth 3x as much.

Q: How do gear ratios work? A: Shorter ratios = faster acceleration, lower top speed per gear. Longer ratios = opposite. For drag: short on gears 1โ€“3 for launch, progressively longer on upper gears. Goal: reach max speed right at the finish line.

Q: Why is my car spinning its tires at launch? A: Too much power, not enough grip. Solutions: install Drag Radial tires, soften rear suspension, adjust 1st gear ratio slightly longer, or lower rear tire pressure.

Q: How do I get the Barista job? A: Go to the Coffee Shop on the main map or in Surakarta and interact with the counter NPC. Added in V1.11 Anniversary Update.

Q: What is the Pettarani Track? A: A second race venue added in Beta V1.1.3, located in Makassar City. Supports Road Race, Drag Race, and Tournament modes. Good for top-end tune testing.

Q: Some codes say map-specific โ€” what does that mean? A: Certain codes (like DELAYDIKITGAKSI) only activate while on the Surakarta map. If a code fails, switch maps and retry.

Q: How many players per server? A: 25. Private servers support Multi Spawn, Moderator System, and prop spawner tools.

Q: Are motorcycles worth buying? A: Absolutely. Bikes cost significantly less, respond more to gear tuning, and a tuned motorcycle can beat a stock car worth 3x as much.

Q: Do helmets or cosmetics affect performance? A: No. All cosmetics (helmets, liveries, rims, paint, accessories, underglow, rider styles) are purely visual.

Q: What is the 2x Paycheck Gamepass? A: 499 Robux. Doubles all RP income from races, jobs, quests, and paychecks โ€” permanently. Best long-term Robux investment.

Q: What is the garage vehicle cap? A: 75 vehicles by default. The Slot Expansion Pass (79 Robux) removes this limit and lets you purchase unlimited additional slots.

Q: How do I find hidden crates? A: Check alleys, behind buildings, rooftops, and dead-end roads on both maps. Reset periodically. Surakarta has its own separate spawns. During anomaly events, special crate zones also activate. Community Discord maps mark fresh clusters post-update.

Q: What are anomalies? A: Hidden in-game secrets scattered across both maps. Discovering them earns unique badges. The rarest badge (Barista Hunter: 13 Anomalies!) has only ~87 awards. YouTube guides and the ADV Gamers Discord are the best resources for finding them.

Q: What is the Crew system? A: Added in Beta V1.1.5 โ€” form or join a crew with other players and participate in crew events for bonus RP. Most active in Surakarta. Detailed mechanics are best found on the official Discord.

Q: Can I buy houses in DDS? A: Yes. Houses and decorations are purchasable with RP. They're expensive and best saved for after your vehicle garage is stable.

Q: Is there a Drag Drive Simulator Fandom wiki? A: No. Game info is spread across TikTok, the ADV Gamers Discord (mostly Indonesian), and fan guide sites.

Q: How do I get more codes? A: Follow the ADV Gamers Roblox group, Discord, and YouTube. Codes drop roughly once per major update cycle (monthly). The in-game lobby NPC and the Roblox game description are the fastest official sources.

General advice: Wait until code RP and tournament income fund your core garage before buying any pass. The only exception is 2x Paycheck โ€” if you plan to play long-term, buying it early compounds significantly over time.

Houses & Decorations

DDS includes a real estate and decoration layer beyond vehicle collection.

  • Players can purchase houses on the map using RP
  • Houses and decorations are not cheap โ€” they represent a significant RP investment
  • Seasonal events add themed decorations (Eid, Christmas, Halloween map decorations are part of the event system)
  • The Prop Spawner system (private servers) allows placing items around the map for roleplay scenes โ€” V1.1.5 added the full system and V1.1.6 expanded it with Save, Load, and Drag Mode options, plus many new spawnable items
  • House and decoration spending is recommended after your vehicle garage and tuning are stable

Roles & Jobs

When joining a server, you pick a role that changes how you earn RP.

Maps & World Exploration

1. Three Map Zones

ZoneStatusKey Content
Main Map + Sentul TrackCoreMultiple dealerships, Sentul Track drag strip, Coffee Shop (Barista job), Event Board at central gas station, gas stations (fast travel + repair)
Surakarta CityV1.11Full expansion based on Surakarta (Solo), Indonesia. New dealerships, roads, hidden crate spawns, Barista job location, Crew event zones. Some codes only activate here.
Pettarani Track / Makassar CityBeta V1.1.3+Road Race + Drag Race systems, tournament infrastructure. Second tuning test venue.

2. Dealership Highlights

  • North Harbor โ€” Japanese imports
  • Downtown โ€” European exotics
  • Surakarta has additional exclusive dealerships
  • DragSpec dealership (pass required) โ€” purpose-built drag machines
  • Luxury dealership (pass required) โ€” high-end vehicles
  • April Fools and major updates sometimes add hidden temporary dealerships for limited vehicles โ€” check Discord announcements when a new update drops

Shopping tip: The original spawn region clusters multiple dealerships, the Coffee Shop, and Sentul Track access in one area โ€” ideal for early sessions. Surakarta adds more coverage once you know the main map.

3. Gas Stations

Serve as fast-travel points and repair hubs. Running out of fuel during a race results in an automatic forfeit.

4. Exploration Strategy

Don't stay on main roads. The most efficient crate sweep checks side streets first, then rooftops and dead ends, then moves from the main map into Surakarta for a second pass. Community Discord maps often mark fresh crate cluster locations after each update.

Event Board tip: Check the "Event Board" at the central gas station on the main map. Timed events offer 2x cash multipliers on specific vehicle classes โ€” switching to the required car type can double hourly income.

Daily route: Combine one race stop (Sentul or Pettarani) + one job shift (Barista or Courier) + one hidden crate sweep across both maps for consistent multi-source RP.

Endgame note: Codes only take you so far. For long-term dominance on the leaderboards, the 2x Paycheck gamepass becomes the strongest multiplier investment.

2. Hidden Crates

Crates spawn in alleys, behind buildings, on rooftops, and at dead-end roads on both maps. They reset periodically โ€” revisit the same locations each session. Surakarta has its own separate spawn set and is the highest-yield exploration region for mid-game players. Stay off main roads; side streets, rooftops, and dead ends are the most productive routes. Community Discord maps often mark fresh crate clusters after updates.

What is Drag Drive Simulator?

Drag Drive Simulator (DDS, also referred to as RDID Revamp by veterans) is an Indonesian-themed drag racing and vehicle simulation game on Roblox, developed by ADV Gamers Team. It has surpassed 1.6 billion total visits and averages roughly 18,000โ€“26,000 concurrent players, with a 95.83% approval rating.

The core loop: buy cars and motorcycles from dealerships spread across the map, customize them with liveries, rims, and gear ratio tunes, then race on drag strips or cruise freely around the city in roleplay sessions. Beyond racing, the game offers an extensive collection of limited vehicles, decorations, and houses to purchase.

DDS stands out from other Roblox vehicle games through its tuning depth โ€” gear ratio adjustments directly affect launch speed, mid-range pull, and top-end velocity, creating a real skill gap between players who understand the system and those who don't.

The game runs on RP (Race Points) as its sole currency, used for everything from vehicles and upgrades to cosmetics. New codes are released roughly monthly alongside major updates.

Job Progression & Ranks

DDS has rank/promotion systems for the Barista and Police roles, tracked via in-game badges.

1. Barista Ranks

BadgeDescription
Barista Job: First Shift!Awarded on starting the Barista role
Junior Barista: First Promotion!First rank promotion
Senior Barista: Expert Brewer!Advanced barista rank

Racing โ€” Drag Strip Tactics

1. Tracks

TrackLocationModesAdded
Sentul Track (Sentul Circuit)Main mapTime Trial, Tournament Drag RaceLaunch
Pettarani TrackMakassar CityRoad Race, Drag Race, TournamentBeta V1.1.3

Sentul Track is the heart of public racing and the most populated area during peak hours. Pettarani is the secondary venue โ€” useful for top-end setup testing and accessing Road Race mode.

2. Race Modes

ModeDescription
Time Trial Drag RaceSolo against the clock. RP based on distance per second. Ideal for tune testing.
Tournament Drag RaceCompetitive against all players in the server. Auto-starts every few minutes. Winner takes the largest share (5โ€“8x a normal race payout). Any number of players can enter.
Road RaceAvailable at Pettarani. Tests vehicle balance beyond pure straight-line speed.

3. The Christmas Tree (Start Lights)

  1. Pre-Stage: Roll forward slowly until the first set of yellow lights activates.
  2. Stage: Advance slightly until the second set turns on. You are now ready.
  3. Launch: Watch the three amber lights. Initiate launch the moment the green flashes. High-tier car owners may need to react a fraction of a second before the green to account for reaction time and mechanical delay.
  4. Shifting: Shift at the tachometer Redline or the engine's optimal power band.
Shift TimingResultTime Impact
Early ShiftEngine bogs down+0.5s delay
Perfect ShiftMaximum power transferOptimal
Late ShiftHits rev-limiter+0.8s delay

Launch tip: Keep tires on the ground as long as possible โ€” you gain no speed while airborne. In half-mile or longer races this is especially important.

Starter Vehicle Selection

Choose a vehicle with a balanced power-to-weight ratio. Heavy trucks and cars look impressive but struggle in short-distance sprints.

Starter VehicleBase Top SpeedAccelerationHandlingPrice
Compact Hatchback120 mphHighExcellent$5,000
Classic Sedan135 mphMediumGood$7,500
Old-School Pickup115 mphLowFair$4,500

Recommended first buy: A mid-tier motorcycle. The Kawasaki ZX25R and PCX 160 are popular picks for their strong acceleration and response to gear ratio tuning. Bikes cost 2โ€“4x less than equivalent cars and teach tuning fundamentals faster.

After code redemption, you likely have enough RP to skip these starter vehicles entirely and go straight to a competitive mid-tier build.

Vehicle Customization & Tuning

1. Visual Mods

Mod TypeNotes

Secondary MaterialAdded Beta V1.1.6
Rider StyleAdded Beta V1.1.6 (Superman Style as first special rider style)

All visual mods are purely cosmetic โ€” none affect vehicle weight, aerodynamics, or performance.

2. Performance Upgrades

UpgradeEffect
Engine Block (stage)Higher stage = more maximum HP potential
Turbo / SuperchargerMajor acceleration boost; requires careful heat management
Drag Radial TiresEssential for drag builds โ€” prevents wheel spin at launch
Suspension (Pro Pass)Unlocks ride height and handling tuning; reduces launch wobble on bikes
Weight ReductionCarbon fiber panels and interior stripping improve quarter-mile times
Cooling SystemRequired when pushing engine limits โ€” neglect causes engine failure
Wheelbase ExtensionAdded Beta V1.1.4; affects vehicle stance and launch behavior
Engine Mounting TypeAdded Beta V1.1.4; affects weight distribution and handling

โš ๏ธ Over-tuning without upgrading cooling can cause engine failure during long races.

3. Gear Ratio Tuning โ€” Deep Dive

Gear ratios are the single most impactful performance system in DDS. Two players with identical vehicles can have very different quarter-mile times based purely on their tune.

Core principle:

  • Shorter ratio = faster acceleration, lower top speed in that gear
  • Longer ratio = slower acceleration, higher top speed in that gear

Goal for drag racing: Build a gear ladder โ€” aggressive lower gears for launch, progressively longer upper gears to reach peak speed right before the finish line.

Signs your tune needs adjustment:

  • Hitting top speed with 200+ meters to go โ†’ top gear too short; lengthen it
  • Still strongly accelerating at finish line โ†’ top gear could be longer
  • Wheel spin at launch โ†’ 1st gear too short, or insufficient grip

Step-by-step tuning process:

  1. Set all gears to default (middle) and run a test drag in free roam. Note time and shift points.
  2. Shorten gears 1โ€“3 toward the acceleration end.
  3. Leave gear 4 at default as a transition.
  4. Lengthen the top gear (5 or 6) toward the top-speed end.
  5. Adjust in 5% increments โ€” a 5โ€“10% change on gear 3 can save 0.2โ€“0.4 seconds.
  6. Test against real players in public races before entering tournaments; server latency affects launch timing.

Motorcycle vs car sensitivity: Bikes are roughly twice as sensitive to ratio changes as cars due to lower weight. A 10% change on a ZX25R produces the speed difference you'd need a 20% change for on a sedan.

Additional settings:

  • Lower rear tire pressure โ†’ larger contact patch โ†’ more launch traction
  • Softer rear suspension โ†’ better power management on launch
  • Short 1st gear โ†’ explosive launch; progressively longer upper gears โ†’ sustained top speed

CategoryAccessNotes
Standard CarsFree (dealerships)Spread across main map and Surakarta; inventory varies by location
Luxury CarsLuxury Pass (119 Robux)High-end vehicles in premium showroom
DragSpec MachinesDragSpec Pass (109 Robux)Purpose-built drag vehicles; superior base stats and tuning headroom

3. Limited Special Vehicles

Limited vehicles are available only during major update windows. Once removed, they do not return. Each major update (V1.1.3, V1.1.4, V1.1.5, V1.1.6) introduced 6โ€“7 new Limited Special Vehicles.

Buying strategy for limited drops:

  • Prioritize highest base top speed for Road Race versatility
  • Or highest base acceleration if you primarily run drag races
  • Act immediately after update drops โ€” the window closes permanently
