1. Beginner Guide

  • Objective: Players must protect a central Plushie located on a square grid (Plot) from waves of enemies (mobs) marching in from multiple lateral and cardinal spawn points along the edges of the map.
  • Lose Condition: When a mob reaches the center, the Plushie loses Health Points (HP). If the Plushie's HP drops to zero, the run ends immediately in defeat.
  • The Three Pillars of Defense:
    • Turrets: Automated towers that deal continuous damage and crowd control.
    • Blocks: Physical obstacles placed on the grid to slow down and redirect enemy pathing.
    • Swords: Manual weapons equipped by the player to inflict direct damage, primarily used to burst down bosses.
  • Technical Constraints:
    • Server Limit: Maximum capacity of 6 players per instance.
    • Engine Features: Classified under Strategy/Tower Defense. Does not support native Voice Chat or dynamic camera features.

Block Engineering & Maze Pathfinding AI

  • AI Trajectory Logic: Mobs always calculate and follow the shortest unobstructed route to the central plushie. Sealing a path completely (creating dead ends with no open route to the plushie) breaks the pathfinding AI, causing clipping bugs where enemies pass directly through map geometry.
  • The One-Tile Gap Rule: Corridors within a maze layout must maintain a strict, intentional width of exactly one tile to guarantee correct enemy pathing and maximize exposure to defenses.
  • Stutter Step Effect: Stacking the passive slowdown of Carbon Blocks with the 1-second stun of a Freeze Tower creates a deceleration loop. Mobs advance only in micro-bursts, keeping them trapped inside overlapping turret fire zones significantly longer.
  • Structural Attributes Matrix:
Block TypeDurability / HPSlow IntensityStrategic Role & Acquisition
Basic BlockLowNone / MinimalCheap starter material for waves 1–25.
Concrete BlockModerateLightMid-priced transition material when Basic blocks break too fast.
Carbon BlockHighHighCore mid-game infrastructure (Waves 25–80); essential for Stutter Step.
Radiant BlockVery HighVery HighEnd-game layout optimization for wave 80+.
Admin Block~5,000 HPMaximum / Instant StunUnbreakable prestige items claimed via daily Top Leaderboard rewards.
  • Maze Maintenance Protocol: Players should upgrade layouts from back to front (starting immediately around the central plushie and working outward toward the spawn points). Prioritize upgrading corners and turns, as the AI naturally pauses briefly when calculating a change in direction, compounding the block's slowdown effect.

Sitemaps & Tactical Zoning

  • Central Kill Zone (Main Chokepoint): The inner ring immediately surrounding the central plushie must contain your Freeze Towers and the most resilient Carbon/Radiant maze loops. Firepower should always be concentrated at this single terminal chokepoint rather than scattered thinly across the plot.
  • Linear Straightaways: Long, straight block corridors should be engineered on the outer flanks of the plot. These corridors are designed specifically to maximize the straight-line AoE capability of Flamethrower Turrets.
  • Avenue Merging: The outer walls of the maze must intercept all cardinal spawn paths, successfully funnelling incoming streams from all directions into a single entrance for the primary "S-curve" or spiral circuit.

Economic System & Progression Strategy

  • Income Channels: Cash is generated primarily via direct mob kills and milestone bonus payouts awarded at specific wave ranges.
  • Macro Investment Priority: Turrets > Blocks > Sword Crates > Plushie HP. Upgrading Plushie HP is the lowest priority because enemy damage scales exponentially in later waves, rendering extra base health ineffective.
  • The Store Menu: Divided into four independent tabs (Turrets, Blocks, Plushies, Swords). The shop is governed by a global rotation timer that updates stock availability and introduces price fluctuations via RNG.
  • Free-to-Play (F2P) Milestone Roadmap:
    • Waves 1–15 (Early Game): Survive utilizing the free starter Basic Turret, the starter sword, and a basic 3-block zigzag maze layout. Avoid spending Cash on sword crates or plushie upgrades during this window.
    • Waves 16–30 (Transition): Purchase a Star Turret or Modern Turret (whichever appears first in the rotating shop between waves 5–10) and strictly hoard 30,000 Cash to acquire the Freeze Tower.
    • Waves 31–80 (Mid-Game): Transition the maze entirely into Carbon Blocks. Initiate boss checkpoint farm loops to exponentially multiply Cash income rather than relying on normal wave grinding.
    • Waves 81–100+ (Late Game): Mass-produce Flamethrower Turrets, construct outer defensive perimeters with Radiant Blocks, and dump excess residual Cash into high-tier sword crates to hunt for mythic drops.

Sword Efficiency & Combat Scaling

  • Combat Role: Swords provide manual damage (Boss DPS) used to break boss shields and kill targets that partially resist automated turret crowd control. Weapons are pulled via a gacha system using shop crates.
  • Weapon Tier Specifications:
    • Basic Sword: Base damage (1.0x multiplier). No special modifiers. Obsolete past wave 15.
    • Diamond Frozen Sword: Mid-tier damage (2.5x multiplier). Features a passive 15% chance to extend the freeze duration of any enemy currently affected by a Freeze Tower. Excellent cost-to-performance value for mid-game.
    • Nebula Sword: Advanced tier damage (5.0x multiplier). Drops with a rough 5% probability from standard gacha crates. Offers high manual swing speed, optimal for waves 40–60.
    • Mythic Swords: Exceed a 10.0x damage multiplier. Reserved for endgame Cash dumps past wave 80.

Turret Infrastructure (Tier List & Mechanics)

  • S Tier – Freeze Tower (~30,000 Cash): The most critical investment in the game. It temporarily freezes all enemies within its radius for approximately 1 second. Stacking freeze coverage is mandatory for leaderboard runs.
    • F2P Shortcut: Can be claimed 100% free by joining the UpTown Games Roblox group and liking the game page.
  • A Tier – Flamethrower Turret (250,000 – 500,000 Cash): Price fluctuates heavily based on shop RNG. It deals massive, sustained linear burn damage to melt high-HP mobs in late-game waves. Should only be purchased after a freeze-and-maze core is fully established.
  • A Tier – Bunker Turret: Features lower raw DPS but provides high tactical positioning value for players pushing deep leaderboard high-wave runs.
  • B Tier – Star Turret (~7,500 Cash): Affordable mid-tier option providing solid initial area coverage. Serves as a standard stepping stone before freeze technology.
  • B Tier – Modern Turret: Reliable mid-game purchase that noticeably improves wave clear speeds over starter gear.
  • C Tier – Basic Turret (Starter): Free unit with low damage and minimal range. Must be phased out and replaced entirely before reaching wave 20.
