Da Hood is a gang-based open world game where players fight, grind for money, build rep, and compete for territory across a detailed urban environment.
Money Farming
Money is earned through robberies, completing jobs, and defeating other players. Robbing the Bank gives the highest single payout but requires getting past security and other players defending it. Grinding jobs consistently is safer but lower per-hour than successful bank runs. Find a balance based on your current combat capability.
Combat Mechanics
Da Hood's combat system rewards good aim and movement. Moving while shooting makes you harder to hit, but reduces your own accuracy slightly. Learn the gun recoil patterns for your preferred weapons — guns with lower recoil allow more consistent shots at medium range. Headshots deal significantly more damage than body shots, so aim high.
Reputation System
Rep is earned by eliminating other players. Higher rep unlocks titles and marks you as a target. If you're actively farming rep, expect other players to prioritize you. Farming rep in areas with consistent player traffic is more efficient than hunting in empty parts of the map.
Gang Mechanics
Joining a gang provides backup during fights and access to gang-specific resources. Active gangs coordinate robberies and defend territory collectively. Solo play is viable but significantly harder at high rep levels where you attract more attention from enemy players.
Survival Tips
Don't carry large amounts of cash without a plan. Other players can take your money when you're eliminated. Bank your earnings regularly rather than holding a large reserve that makes you a high-priority target. Stay aware of your surroundings — Da Hood's open world allows ambushes from any direction.
