Journey to Summer Camp Event (2026)

Dates: May 29, 2026 – June 19, 2026
Event Currency: Compass Coins (earned through event activities only; not purchasable with Robux or Bucks)

A three-week limited-time event introduced NPCs Angela, Mikey, and Beaver Bob, whose van has broken down on Adoption Island. The theme changed each week: Week 1 = land travel, Week 2 = water travel, Week 3 = air travel. All pets and items were only available during their release week.

Week 1 — Land Travel (May 29 – June 4)

Activity: Truck Tour

• Beaver Bob's Postie Van drove around Adoption Island every 15 minutes
• Compass Coins spawned on top of the vehicle (5 each) and dropped around it every 30 seconds (20 each)
• After every other Truck Tour, a Truck Cooling activity began: players collected water buckets, filled them at the water container behind the van, and carried them to put out the vehicle fire. This was cooperative — multiple players speed up the process.
• Once the fire was out, the van's back opened and the Bison shop became available.

Week 2 — Water Travel (June 5 – June 11)

Activity: Boat Tour + Current Diving

• After the tour, players could dive underwater to collect garbage bags and earn Compass Coins (10 per bag); Compass Coins also scattered around underwater after bags were cleared (5 each)
• The "Dive the Currents!" ailment required collecting ten garbage bags underwater (50 Compass Coins reward)
• Once ten bags were cleared, the Nurse Shark emerged and became available for purchase (7,000 Compass Coins) — only until the next Boat Tour began

Week 3 — Air Travel (June 12 – June 19)

Activity: Airship + Windy Platform

• An Airship emerged from a cloud over the Beach Party and traveled toward a wooden platform next to the Hospital

• Wind continuously pushed players off the platform — a Hyper Speed potion helped navigate this phase
• Once aboard the Airship, players went skydiving (same mechanic later continued in the Summer Camp Event)

Important: All Compass Coins expired at the end of the Journey to Summer Camp event on June 19, 2026. They could not be used in the Summer Camp Event.

Began during an Admin Abuse session on June 20, 2026. NPCs Cricket, Mayor Amanda, Randi, Dagi, and Jesse introduced the event. Players earn Acorns through event activities and spend them in the Acorn Shop on pets, accessories, bait, and items.

How to Earn Acorns

Active daily estimate: 4,000–5,000 Acorns per real day with skydiving, pet needs (one pet), Task Board, and Water Balloons. With Pet Handler Pro Certificate (doubles pet slots): 5,500–7,000+ Acorns/day.

Skydiving Activity

• Every 20 minutes, the Journey Airship appears at the event hub across from the Playground
• Board the Airship and jump out to begin the skydive
• Move your avatar in any direction (except up) while falling through rings
• 2,000 Acorns for going through all glowing rings; +1,000 bonus for hitting the bullseye on the target board
• A Time Trial mode (talk to Randi inside the Airship) records fastest times on a server leaderboard
• Skydiving is the single highest-yield active method for Acorns (up to 3,000/run, every ~20 minutes)

Water Balloon Fight

• Grab Water Balloons from buckets in the Water Fight area (between the Vehicle Dealership and Campsite)
• Each Water Balloon has five uses
• Every hit on another player drops 5 Acorns for the thrower
• Up to 250 Acorns/day from Water Balloons
• Hitting an Uplift Games staff member rewards significantly more Acorns

Fishing System (Summer Camp)

A new mechanic introduced in Week 1 of the Summer Camp Event.

Getting Started:

• Claim a free Bronze Fishing Rod at the Fishing Shop
• Use Karp Bait at a fishing spot (found at the Fishing Shop and around Adoption Island)
• When a fish bites, a red exclamation icon appears — click quickly to react

Rod Upgrades:

Trading is the economic backbone of Adopt Me, allowing players to move from Common starter pets to Legendary collections without endlessly hatching eggs.

Getting the Trade License

Before trading Ultra-Rare and Legendary pets, players must obtain a Trade License at the Safety Hub on Adoption Island. The quiz tests basic trading safety knowledge — the questions are straightforward.

Trading Mechanics

• The Trading Plaza is where players exchange pets, items, and eggs.
• Up to 18 items can be included in a single trade offer.
• The in-game Trade Calculator checks approximate item values.
• The Trade Book logs trade history and flags potential scam patterns.
• A spectator count (eye symbol) shows how many players are watching a trade — more eyes means more accountability.

Safe Trading Rules

• NEVER trust trade. Trust trading (giving someone a pet with promises to return it or give something better) is the most common scam in Adopt Me. There is no legitimate reason for it. The quiz will ask about this — always decline.
• Do fair trades. Trade pets of similar rarity for other pets of similar rarity. Use the Pet Journal to verify rarities.
• Learn profit trading. Trade items you have for items of slightly higher value. Over time, small upgrades compound into legendary pets and neon creatures.
• Follow trading etiquette: don't spam requests, be honest about pet ages and potions, never beg for free pets.
