Run Speed and Rebirths

Run Speed upgrades persist across Rebirths. Unlike Kick Power and Weights (which reset to starting state when a Rebirth is triggered), Run Speed carries forward permanently. This makes Run Speed investment uniquely durable — every level purchased is never lost.

Pairing Run Speed with Weight Upgrades

Every time a player purchases a new Weight tier and unlocks a farther zone, a corresponding Run Speed upgrade should be purchased before farming that zone consistently. The recommended approach:

1. Buy the new Weight.
2. Test the new zone — observe whether the return trip is survivable.
3. If the tsunami is catching up or landing hits are close, invest in Run Speed before continuing to push.
4. Never let kick distance outpace the survival route.

Critical Speed Thresholds

• Legendary zone onward: Run Speed investment becomes critical at this tier. The return distance is long enough that under-leveled speed causes consistent losses.
• Godly, Secret, Divine zones: Survivability is heavily dependent on having matched Run Speed to zone level.
• Hacked, OG, Celestial, Eternal, Eternal+: At these endgame zones, failing to invest in Run Speed makes the zones effectively inaccessible regardless of Kick Power.

Weights and Kick Power

What Is Kick Power?

Kick Power (KP) is the primary progression metric in Kick a Lucky Block. It determines how far the Lucky Block travels on each kick and therefore which Zones become accessible. Kick Power is increased exclusively by purchasing heavier Weights.

At 1,000 Kick Power, the first Rebirth becomes available.

What Are Weights?

Weights are equipment upgrades purchased with in-game Cash. Each weight tier adds a fixed amount to your Kick Power. They must be purchased sequentially — you cannot skip tiers without buying the previous one, except where skipping is strategically recommended (see Stone Block note below).

Weight Tiers

The game has 14+ confirmed weight tiers. Planet Barbell is confirmed as a late-game tier enabling access to the Eternal and Eternal+ endgame zones added in Update 7.

The Stone Block Skip

Stone Block costs $75,000 and grants only +10 KP.
Copper Plate costs $500,000 and grants +50 KP — plus it unlocks the Epic zone, which is the first zone with meaningful income.

Buying Stone Block is the most commonly flagged early-game mistake. The +10 bonus offers poor value and slows progression considerably. The recommended path is:

1. Wooden Stick (free, +2)
2. Bone Barbell ($7,500, +5)
3. Skip Stone Block entirely — save for Copper Plate ($500,000, +50)

Zone Unlocks by Weight Tier

Weights and Rebirth

When a player performs a Rebirth, Kick Power and Weights reset to their starting state. The player must re-purchase weights from the beginning. However:

• The permanent cash multiplier from Rebirth means weights are repurchased far more quickly on each subsequent cycle.
• Run Speed upgrades do not reset on Rebirth, so survival capability is retained across rebirths.

Zones

Overview

Zones are distance-based rarity tiers. The farther the Lucky Block travels after a kick, the higher the zone it lands in and the rarer the Brainrot that spawns. There are 13+ zone tiers as of Update 7 (June 2026), ranging from Common at the near end of the map to Eternal+ at the far endgame extreme.

Zone access is determined by your current Kick Power (KP), which is increased by purchasing heavier Weights. Higher zones also increase the danger of the return trip, since the tsunami must be outrun from a greater distance.

Zone Mechanics

• Each zone has its own pool of Brainrot rarities. Farther zones unlock rarer Brainrots with higher base income values.
• Landing in a higher zone does not guarantee the rarest possible Brainrot within that zone — the roll is still randomized within the zone's pool.
• Luck (from Perfect Kicks, events, and gamepasses) can shift the probability toward rarer results within a zone's pool.
• The Hacked and OG zones produce Brainrots earning billions per second with a fully established Plot.
• Godly zones produce Brainrots earning millions per second.

Eternal and Eternal+ Zones

Eternal and Eternal+ were added in Update 7 and represent the current endgame ceiling. Key facts:

• Both zones require the Planet Barbell weight tier for reliable access.
• The Astral mutation (50× multiplier) is only obtainable in Eternal and Eternal+ zones. It cannot drop in any other zone.
• The Block Cup mutation (38×) is most efficiently farmed from Eternal/Eternal+ zones during the Block Cup event.
