Beginner Progression Path
1. 3.1 Day-One Starter Meta
Community consensus favors Bubble (Water) for speedrunning the early islands, since Verdant Valley is Rock-type heavy. Choosing Bubble lets players "one-tap" most wild encounters in the first hour and reach the first Island Boss with a clear power advantage.
2. 3.2 The "EXP Fruit" Economy
New players commonly waste hours grinding wild monsters one at a time. A faster loop:
The Shop Merchant sells capture balls and potions.
Large EXP Fruits each grant a massive 10,000 EXP to a single monster.
Tactic: Battling wild mobs yields EXP Fruits; a single fruit is worth hundreds of regular battles. Feed a newly caught monster 2–3 fruits to make it instantly viable for the current island.
3. 3.3 Matching Team to Island Types
Island
Environment
Dominant Types
Best Counters
Verdant Valley
Forest/Caves
Rock, Normal
Water, Grass
Petal Pond
Lakes/Rivers
Water, Bug
Grass, Electric
Lava Crag
Volcano/Magma
Fire, Rock
Water, Ground
Tip: never enter a Boss Arena with a team that shares a single shared weakness (e.g., an all-Grass team against a Fire-AOE boss will be wiped quickly).
4. 3.4 Launch-Day Booster Codes (as listed in this guide)
EvomonVip — 5 Medium EXP Fruits (boosts a starter to roughly Lvl 15 instantly)
LIKE1GIFT — 1,000 Coins + 2 Medium EXP Fruits
FORDC1200 — 1,000 Coins (useful for buying better Capture Balls)
(See Section 22 for the full, currently active code list, which differs from this launch-day set.)
Coin Farming
Methods for earning coins, ranked roughly by efficiency per the source guide (credit: Shuraelyn):
Defeating Mobs — minor source while leveling; higher levels grant more coins but overall amount stays small.
Boss Hunting — highly rewarding; first-time kills grant massive coins (decreasing on repeat kills). Bosses with long respawn timers drop more than fast-respawning ones.
Daily Pack — quick daily claim, small amount.
Daily Quests — completing all daily missions grants a flat 10,000 Coins.
World Quests — NPC Lilian offers quests on each island; rewards scale with quest requirements.
NPC Duels — coin rewards scale with the area's level; high-level areas yield significantly more.
Battle Pass & Level Rewards — free coins from leveling, or buy the Premium pass with Robux for extra rewards.
Tower Climbing — rewards materials and coins; higher climbs yield more coins.
Chest Challenge — up to 1,000 Coins per completion, capped at 5 times per day.
Island Chest Hunting — described as the single best current farming method; recommended to use a flying pet for speed and server-hop to keep collecting continuously.
EXP Dungeon — rewards coins alongside EXP; higher player level yields more coins.
World Boss (Main City) — defeating the daily World Boss grants a flat 1,200 Coins.
Eggs
Egg Type
Hatch Time
Notes
Prismatic Egg
1 hour
Hatches a random S-ranked Evomon. Usable with any Ball; can still roll a Prismatic pattern/SSS via a King/Prismatic Ball.
Shiny Egg
10 minutes
Always at least S rank; can also be used with King/Prismatic Balls.
Normal Egg
3 minutes
Always at least S rank; use a King/Prismatic Ball if aiming for SSS.
Eggs are obtained as a very rare Capture Drop from defeating/capturing any Evomon:
Normal Egg capture-drop rate: "Very Rare" (no published percentage).
Shiny Egg capture-drop rate: "Super Rare" (no published percentage).
EXP Dungeons (Petal Pond)
1. The Gateway to Level 90: Petal Pond EXP Challenge Area
Once players reach Petal Pond, difficulty spikes, and the EXP Challenge Area becomes the only reliable way to earn Large EXP Fruits without spending real currency or using limited codes.
Ticket Limit: 2 free tickets every 24 hours, resetting at 00:00 UTC.
Strategy: Don't waste tickets early — a failed run consumes the ticket without granting the final reward chest.
2. Tactical Composition
The dungeon's 5 waves of enemies increase in level; in Petal Pond, the majority are Water and Bug types.
MVP pick: an evolved Leafbu(n) (Grass) — Grass moves are super-effective against the Water waves, and its high defensive stats let it survive the Bug waves. (Note: the source spells this both "Leafbu" and "Leafbun" inconsistently; Leafbun is the confirmed starter name elsewhere.)
Skill Priority: Use high-AOE skills to clear the first 3 waves quickly, saving the Ultimate for the final boss wave.
3. Loot
Clearing all 5 waves grants a Tier 1 or Tier 2 reward chest.
Large EXP Fruits grant 10,000 EXP to a single Evomon.
A Double XP Charm used before entering doubles the end-of-run XP reward, but does not double the fruits found in the chest.
4. The "Pro" Loop
Ensure your primary attacker is at least Level 20 before entering.
Check the weather indicator: if it's Raining, the dungeon's Water-type enemies get a 25% damage boost — wait for rain to stop before entering.
Stand in the center of the arena, let enemies cluster, then use AOE skills.
Run both daily tickets back-to-back to maximize any active buffs.
FAQ
Q: Why can't I level up more? I'm Level 28.
A: Once all available quests and catchable Evomon are exhausted and you can't reach Level 30 to Ascend, have friends take you to other areas to farm new normal/Shiny Evomon to reach Trainer Level 30, then wait for the daily reset.
Q: What ball should I use?
A: The Prismatic Ball is great for any Normal/Shiny capture, but most players use it on Shinies due to better overall resulting stats — it grants SSS Talent and 1 random Prismatic pattern to that Evomon.
Q: Why can't my friend help me in a dungeon?
A: They likely haven't reached the required Trainer level or haven't been issued the quest for that dungeon.
Q: How do I use an Omni-Stone?
A: Omni-Stones help evolve Evomon by substituting for "lacking" materials if you're below the needed evolution level. Note: Omni-Stones do NOT work as Evolution Stones — only the proper Elemental Stones do.
Q: Can a starter be farmed?
A: No — starters are obtained only by inviting new friends who have never played Evomon before.
Q: Can a Rank S become a Rank SSS using a Talent Potion?
A: No. Talent potions can only randomly re-roll which stat receives a boost, not upgrade the overall Talent grade. A stat that re-rolled to be naturally higher than the others is marked with a double-arrow icon.
Q: Can I get Boltonia?
A: Not currently — you can only view it in the "dex" for now; more info to come.
Q: Does Pity for Prismatic or Shiny ever exceed its limit?
A: No — once the pity counter reaches its final threshold, the player automatically gets the Prismatic/Shiny at 100%. (Whether pity can be pushed past the limit without acting on it has not been tested by the community, per the source.)
Q: How can I tell ATK, Sp.ATK, and Status apart visually?
A: The source provides distinct icons for each stat type (ATK, Sp.ATK, Status) to help players quickly identify a move's category when choosing actions.
Q: What does a Prismatic Egg do?
A: It hatches a random Evomon with a possible random Prismatic pattern.
Full Creature Dex (Names & Numbers)
The official site publishes a numbered Dex separate from the /wiki index. Of 108 total Dex slots, 76 are currently revealed (70% complete); the remaining 32 show only in-game silhouettes ("???") and are not yet documented. This list gives confirmed names and Dex numbers only — it does not include individual base stats, types, or evolution-level requirements, none of which the official site currently publishes per-creature (see Section 25, point 1).

Each three-in-a-row block (e.g., N.001–003 Bubble → Bubboxer → Bubblader) generally represents a single evolution line's three stages, consistent with the BST/evolution-line structure referenced in Sections 6–8 and the Tier List. The Dex confirms 27 evolution-line groupings are at least partially discovered out of an implied ~36 total lines (108 ÷ 3), though not every line necessarily has exactly three stages.
⚠️ Important scope note: This Dex data comes from the same official evomon.wiki domain as the rest of this guide and is reliable for names/numbers. However, broader searches for individual per-creature stat pages (base HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpD/Speed, exact evolution levels, capture locations) turned up only third-party, unofficial fan sites (e.g., a domain styled "evomonroblox.wiki" — distinct from the official "evomon.wiki" Henrique specified) that present invented-looking or unverifiable numeric stats (e.g., "Bubble: Sp.Atk 47, Speed 40, BST 260") alongside meta commentary. These numbers could not be cross-checked against the official site, conflict in formatting/values from one fan site to another, and in some cases the fan sites explicitly self-describe their data as "illustrative" or a "placeholder catalog." None of those third-party stat numbers have been included in this guide's data tables to avoid presenting unverified figures as confirmed game data — only the official Dex names/numbers and the official Tier List (Section 21) entries are treated as reliable from this round of research.

Note: this list does not include "King Ball" or "Prismatic Ball," both referenced elsewhere in the guides (FAQ, Eggs, Quest rewards) but not catalogued on the Items page — likely a gap the placeholder catalog hasn't filled yet (see Section 25). A follow-up search found these items described consistently across multiple independent third-party sources (Sportskeeda, bo3.gg), summarized below for completeness, though they remain unconfirmed against the official evomon.wiki Items page itself:
Item (third-party reporting)
Reported Effect
King Ball
Guarantees the captured Evomon will have SSS Talent.
Prismatic Ball
Guarantees SSS Talent and a sparkling (Prismatic) visual effect on capture; per Sportskeeda, has a 100% catch rate and can also be thrown at an already-Shiny Evomon to add the Prismatic sparkle on top of the Shiny coloring. Reportedly obtainable from Season Battle Pass milestones (e.g., Free track Level 50, Premium track Levels 25 and 50) or purchasable in the Shop (799 Robux single / 7,990 Robux for a pack of 10, per Sportskeeda — note this specific pricing is unverified against the official site).
Evolution Stones
General-purpose materials required for evolving Evomon (distinct from the species-specific Evolution Gems already catalogued in the table above).
Nature Reroll Potion
Rerolls/changes a captured Evomon's Nature.
Talent Vector Potion
Resets/rerolls a captured Evomon's Talent (consistent with the FAQ's description in Section 23, which clarifies this only re-rolls which stat is boosted, not the grade itself).
Trait Reroll Potion
Changes a captured Evomon's Trait.
Lucky Spin
Used to roll for Adventure Suits (the spin/gacha system described in Section 13).
Enhance Stone
Used to upgrade/enhance equipment.
Refine Stone
Reforges Evomon equipment, granting it better stats.
Equipment Boost Ticket
Grants entry to an "Equipment Challenge."
These ten entries were reported in the same form across at least two independent third-party walkthroughs of the Season Battle Pass, giving them more cross-source consistency than the single-source Ascend requirement claims in Section 17 — but they are still not confirmed on the official evomon.wiki Items page itself, so they're presented here as a secondary reference layer rather than merged into the primary table above.

Rest restores 20% max HP per turn for 3 turns.
Mutations: Shiny & Prismatic
Evomon has two distinct rare-encounter tiers (the wiki refers to these collectively as "Mutations"):
1. Shiny (the stronger rare variant)
Standard "rare" encounter with a completely different color scheme from the common form (e.g., a blue fire-type).
Rarity is RNG-based.
Grants a real stat boost over a common Evomon, making Shinies the better competitive pick for dungeons, bosses, PvP, and Tower climbing — in addition to trade/index value.
2. Prismatic (cosmetic-only rare variant)
Identified by a constant shimmering particle effect around the monster.
Significantly rarer than Shiny ("Ultra-Rare").
Purely cosmetic — changes appearance only, adds no stats, so a Shiny still out-performs a Prismatic in combat.
Comes in multiple colored sparkle variants: Pink, Blue, Green, Red, Black — with Black being the rarest color.
3. Hunting Strategy: Chain Hunting / Pity
Species Targeting: Pick one species to hunt (e.g., Datubud).
The Chain: Repeatedly defeat or capture that species to build up pity toward a Prismatic or Shiny.
Pity Reset: Catching either a Prismatic or a Shiny resets the pity chain.
4. FAQ Clarifications on Pity & Prismatic
Pity does not appear to be capable of "overflowing" past 100% — once the pity counter is full, the next encounter is automatically a Shiny/Prismatic (the source notes this has not been tested by the community for what happens if you somehow exceed the limit without acting on it).
A Prismatic Egg hatches a random Evomon with a possible random Prismatic pattern.
The Prismatic Ball is recommended primarily for Shiny captures due to better overall resulting stats; it grants SSS Talent and one random Prismatic pattern to the captured Evomon.
Game Overview
Evomon is a creature-collection RPG on Roblox. Players explore a series of island zones, capture and evolve monsters ("Evomon"), battle NPCs and bosses, and build teams around a 17-element type system. The wiki currently catalogs 76 creatures across 14 elements with 57 evolution lines, and tracks 175 moves, 41 traits, 29 natures, and 20 items.

More Lava Crag quests are marked "To Be Confirmed" by the source wiki.
Note: The source guide also names islands beyond these three (Amber Acres, Autumm Hills, Shiver Snows, Flying Territory, Raven Ridge, Silent Sands, Crystal Cascade, Dusk Town, Canyon Oasis, Murkwood, Nether Land, Rocky Ridge, Thunder Cliffs — see Section 15 for their treasure chest locations), but only Verdant Valley, Petal Pond, and Lava Crag have published quest-by-quest breakdowns so far.
4. 4.1 Later Island Bosses (Third-Party Supplement — Unverified)
The official evomon.wiki site does not yet publish quest-by-quest data for islands past Lava Crag. A follow-up search surfaced third-party reporting (chiefly Sportskeeda and Gamezebo, loosely corroborated by a third independent source) describing boss elements, levels, and mechanics for several later islands. These figures are not from evomon.wiki and have not been cross-verified against the official site, so they're presented here as a separate supplementary layer rather than merged into the main walkthrough above:
Island
Reported Boss Element(s)
Reported Level
Reported Mechanic
Amber Acres
Grass
~Level 75 (per one source)
"Iron Resolve" buff — reportedly gets tankier and faster with each hit; weak to Fire, Flying, Bug, Poison, Ice.
Shiver Snows
Ice
~Level 100 (per one source)
"Element Resist" — 50% damage reduction against repeated-element attacks; immune to Abnormal Status; weak to Fire, Rock, Steel, Fighting.
Flying Territory
Flying
~Level 90 (per one source)
Reported as a stat-check "wall" with roughly 2,000 HP and no special gimmick; weak to Electric, Rock, Ice.
Raven Ridge
Electric/Flying
~Level 105 (per one source)
"Attack Surge" — reportedly gains +2 ATK, +2 SPA, +1 PP per turn; weak to Rock, Electric, Dark, Ground, Light.
Silent Sands
Rock
—
"Repeat Penalty" — reportedly inflicts −50% damage and −1 Speed on the player's Evomon if it repeats its last-used move.
Crystal Cascade
—
—
Reported to build resistance against repeatedly-used elements (similar concept to Shiver Snows' Element Resist).
Nether Land
—
—
"Poison Curse" — reportedly applies 3 Poison stacks to the player's Evomon at the start of its turn each round; weak to Grass, Flying, Dark.
Rocky Ridge
—
—
"Late Surge" — reportedly deals −35% damage for the first three turns, then +50% from turn four onward; restores 1 PP per turn; weak to Fighting, Flying, Poison.
Thunder Cliffs
—
—
No specific mechanic reported by the sources found.
Additional unverified notes from the same third-party sources: defeating an Island Boss is reportedly not mandatory to progress (players can teleport between islands freely), but boss defeats are tied to completing the official progression quests and reportedly drop materials like Summon Tickets. One source also claims the Elite Hunter Adventure Suit (see Section 13) increases damage specifically against summoned/Island Bosses — this is consistent with that Suit's official description in Section 13, lending it slightly more credibility than the unconfirmed boss-level numbers above, but it has still not been confirmed against the official guide text itself.
Self-Critique & Remaining Gaps
This compilation covers all 16 guide articles from the /guides hub plus the core wiki tool pages (Type Chart, Natures, Traits, Mutations, MoveSets, Items, Stats, Tier List, Codes, the Wiki index, the Dex, and Community Builds), now supplemented by two follow-up research passes.
1. Round 2 follow-up: what was resolved this time
King Ball, Prismatic Ball, and 8 other progression items documented (Section 11 supplement) — sourced from two independent third-party walkthroughs of the Season Battle Pass that agreed closely with each other (Sportskeeda and bo3.gg), giving this set of items more cross-source confidence than most other third-party claims in this guide. Still not confirmed against the official Items page itself, which remains stuck at its placeholder 20-item list (see point 2 below).
Confirmed the official Items page has grown to 37 entries per a fresher search-engine index snapshot (title changed from "All 20 Gems..." to "All 37 Gems..."), but repeated direct fetch attempts on /items (including a cache-busting query parameter) only returned the stale 20-item version. This appears to be a caching/indexing mismatch between the live site and what the fetch tool retrieves — worth a manual re-check by Henrique closer to publication, since the live page is confirmed to have grown.
Later-island boss data added as a clearly-separated supplement (new Section 4.1) — third-party sources (Sportskeeda, Gamezebo, one other) describe boss elements, approximate levels, and unique battle mechanics for Amber Acres through Thunder Cliffs. This fills part of the "Lava Crag and beyond" gap from the first draft, but the specific level numbers conflict in precision between sources and are explicitly marked unverified rather than merged into the main quest tables.
2. Gaps that remain even after two follow-up passes
Full creature database (stats, evolution levels, capture locations) still not available from the official site. The /wiki index remains JavaScript-rendered with no static data. The official /items-style "37 entries" discovery in this round suggests the official site may also eventually populate full per-creature stats the same way — worth checking /wiki again in the future in case it has also updated past its placeholder state.
Items page mismatch (20 vs. 37) could not be resolved with available tools — this is now a known, specific gap (not just "items might be incomplete") that a manual visit to evomon.wiki/items would resolve immediately.
Stats/Talent page (/wiki/rank) still conflicts with the Natures page as previously noted — this follow-up did not find a newer official version to reconcile the discrepancy.
Tier List unranked pool (46 of 76 creatures) remains unexplained — no official write-up of placement criteria was found.
Ascend numeric requirements remain unconfirmed and, if anything, got more tangled this round — multiple third-party sources for Season Battle Pass items agree closely with each other, but the separate cluster of sources describing Ascend requirements specifically continue to disagree on the exact numbers (see Section 17). This split suggests Battle Pass/item data is more stable across the fan community than Ascend-specific mechanics, which may be newer or less consistently documented even among third parties.
Minor source inconsistencies preserved as-is: "Leafbu" vs. "Leafbun," "Magentic Field" (likely "Magnetic Field"), "Physhic Blast" (likely "Psychic Blast"), "Abolute Purity" (likely "Absolute Purity"), and the Mega Drain move listed under "Physical" category despite its special-damage description — these typos exist in the original source and have been preserved with notes rather than silently corrected.
Codes list has two slightly different snapshots (the dated guide article vs. the live /codes page) that don't perfectly overlap — FORGROUP only appears on the older dated guide. Since codes expire/rotate frequently, the live /codes page (Section 22, first table) should be treated as more current, but a fresh fetch closer to publication date is recommended before publishing this guide externally.
3. Recommended Next Steps (if further research is wanted)
Manually re-visit https://www.evomon.wiki/items directly in a browser (not via this tool's fetch) to capture the confirmed-live 37-item version, since the fetch tool could not retrieve it despite the search index confirming it exists.
A browser-rendering capable tool (rather than static fetch) pointed at /wiki and /team-builder/builds would be the most direct way to finally extract per-creature stats and community team comps directly from the official source.
If official numeric Ascend requirements matter for the published guide, the most reliable path remains a direct in-game data point, since multiple rounds of web search have not converged on a single consistent answer.
A re-check of /guides, /codes, /items, and /tier-list immediately before publication is still advisable, since this is a frequently-updated live wiki — this round's discovery of the 20-vs-37 items mismatch is itself proof of how quickly the site changes.
Starters & Early Game
There are three starters: Bubble (Water), Blazpup (Fire), and Leafbun (Grass).
1. Best Overall: Bubble (Water)
The first major zone, Verdant Valley, is populated almost entirely by Rock and Ground types, so Bubble's water-based skills deal 2x super-effective damage to nearly every early encounter.
The first Island Boss is a Rock-type construct; a Level 15 Bubble can often solo it without support, letting players unlock the second island faster than with other starters.
Early World Bosses often carry Fire or Rock attributes, so a strong Water starter contributes solid damage and secures better loot from the start.
2. Highest Damage: Blazpup (Fire)
Has the highest Special Attack stat among the three starters, giving strong neutral damage.
Becomes dominant once players move past the first island and into Bug/Grass biomes.
Trade-off: struggles in Verdant Valley and may require catching a "fodder" Water-type to get past the first boss.
3. Most Defensive: Leafbun (Grass)
Considered the "hard mode" starter, but the only one with early access to healing skills and status moves (Poison, Sleep).
Higher defensive stats let it survive hits that would one-shot a Blazpup.
Progresses slower through the Rock-heavy early game; recommended for players who prefer a methodical, tactical playstyle.
Stats, Talent Grades & Natures
1. 6.1 The Six Base Stats
HP — health pool; how much damage a creature can take before fainting.
Attack — drives physical-move damage.
Defense — reduces incoming physical damage.
Sp. Atk — drives special-move damage.
Sp. Def — reduces incoming special damage.
Speed — decides turn order.
2. 6.2 Talent Grades (capture stat quality)
A captured Evomon rolls a Talent grade, similar to an IV system:
Grade
Stat Quality

B
55%
A
70%
S
85%
SS
95%
SSS
100%
⚠️ Data conflict noted: The dedicated Stats page (/wiki/rank) presents this table but explicitly labels it a "placeholder mapping," and at time of writing only the Adamant Nature was marked "Confirmed" on that page, with just 9 natures listed there. The separate, more complete Natures page (/natures) lists all 29 natures as live data (see 6.3 below) without the "placeholder" caveat. The FAQ guide also references SSS as an achievable grade from Prismatic/King Balls, suggesting the full grade ladder is functional in-game even if the Stats page itself is outdated/unverified. Treat the Talent percentages with some caution and prioritize the Natures list in 6.3 as the more current source.
3. 6.3 Natures (Full List — 29 total)

4. 6.4 Talent Potions (from FAQ)
Talent potions can only randomly re-roll which stat gets boosted — they cannot upgrade a Talent grade itself (e.g., you cannot turn an S rank into SSS using a Talent potion). When a stat has been re-rolled to be naturally higher than the others, it is shown with a double-arrow indicator on its stat icon.
Suits
Suits are obtained via a spin/gacha system with the following rarity tiers and rates:
1. 44% Uncommon
Runner — +25% player movement speed (also boosts riding speed on flying-capable mounts).
Normal Novice — +5% skill damage on all Normal-type skills except status moves.
2. 40% Rare
Fire Novice — +5% damage on all Fire-type skills.
Water Novice — +5% damage on all Water-type skills.
Grass Novice — +5% damage on all Grass-type skills.
Elemental Mage — +2% skill damage per unique element in the party (small bonus to any elemental skill damage).
Mediator — All allied Evomon take 8% less damage from the enemy lead's elemental type (e.g., leading with an Ice-type vs. an enemy Fire lead reduces incoming Fire damage).
Pharmacist — Using a potion grants all allied Evomon a 20% healing effect.
6. 0.1% Eternal
Energy Scholar — Ultimate Skill gains +16% damage, plus 1 additional Energy gained and +1 additional Energy recovered after using an Ultimate.
Champion — +11% damage on all skill types (Fire, Grass, Poison, Dragon, Water, Bug, Psychic, Dark, Light, Ground, Rock, Steel, Fighting, Flying, Ice).
The Ascend System
Level Cap: EXP gain stops once a player hits the current level cap.
Ascend (sometimes called Rebirth in the source URL slug) is required to raise the level cap further. The first Ascend has specific requirements that must be met before it becomes available; once met, the player can Ascend.
Is it worth it? Yes, per the source — Ascending lets the player become stronger to handle new map zones and continue grinding for top-tier Evomon.
Per the Quest Walkthrough (Section 4), reaching Lava Crag includes an objective to "Breakthrough to Ascend 2," confirming Ascending is a multi-stage, repeatable system (Ascend 1, Ascend 2, etc.), though full requirements for each stage are not detailed in the source guide.
The official evomon.wiki guide does not publish exact numeric Ascend requirements. To open that gap, follow-up searches were run against third-party (non-evomon.wiki) Evomon guide sites; their accounts of the exact requirements conflict with each other and should be treated as unverified community reporting rather than confirmed game data:
One third-party source describes the Level 30 Ascension gate as requiring: defeating three rotating "summon bosses" (found inside Petal Pond and Lava Crag, said to reset weekly), capturing/hatching five Evomon of S-Talent or higher, spinning any Adventure Suit five times, and submitting one matching-element Evolution Stone.
A different third-party source instead describes the first Ascension's requirements as raising two Evomon to Level 25 and holding a total of 35 Evomon in inventory — with no mention of summon bosses, Suit spins, or Evolution Stone submission.
A third source describes Ascension in tiers without giving exact numbers, stating Ascension 1 caps trainer/Evomon levels "near the high twenties," Ascension 2 allows Evomon up to roughly Level 60, and Ascension 3+ unlocks higher challenge floors and raid content — again without official confirmation.
Multiple third-party sources agree that the Ascend/Ascension menu is opened via the player's avatar/profile icon (or by tapping the EXP bar next to it) in the top-right of the screen, and that progress toward Ascension requirements is saved automatically between sessions.
Because none of this numeric detail appears on the official evomon.wiki guide pages and the third-party accounts disagree with each other, none of these specific numbers should be treated as confirmed without in-game verification. They are included here only as leads for further research, not as facts to publish as-is.
Tier List (Meta Rankings)
A community-driven "Overall Meta" tier list (S → D, no listed top-tier "SS" entries at time of fetch despite the tier scale label suggesting SS exists) ranks 30 Evomon based on team comps players build and share. Species not yet placed by the community remain in an unranked pool and don't appear on the public board.

The site also offers a live "matchup checker" tool for picking two specific Evomon and comparing them, but the tool's interactive output is not captured in static page text.
Ultimate Moves
At Level 30, every Evomon unlocks its "Ultimate Move" (signature move) — a significantly more powerful skill, often with a unique cinematic or AOE effect.
Unlike standard moves that consume Energy/Mana, the Ultimate Move is "free" to use but requires a full charge to activate.
Charging: Certain status moves like Soak or Damp speed up the charge. Example given: if a move is at 3/8 charge and a Soak/Damp effect adds +2, it becomes 5/8, ready to use the following turn.
Recharge persistence: The Ultimate's charge does not reset between wild battles — only after reaching a full charge — so timing its use across multiple fights matters.
1. Timing Strategy
Dungeon Waves: In the Petal Pond EXP Dungeon, save the Ultimate for Wave 5 rather than Wave 1, since the charge will likely refill again by the time the boss wave appears.
Boss AOE: Many Ultimates grant a Shield or Invincibility Frames during their animation — using the Ultimate just as a boss begins a "One-Shot" beam attack can let the player survive and counter-damage simultaneously.
Type Synergy: During Rain weather, a Water-type Ultimate deals significantly more damage — check the weather indicator before firing.
World Mechanics: Evilmon, Weather, Mounts
1. Evilmon Chests
"Evilmon" are boss-like encounters guarded by 2 mini Evomon protecting a locked chest.
Defeating them grants daily Challenge Chest rewards, capped at 5/5 per day.
2. Weather & Climate System
The world's weather changes dynamically every 15 minutes; an indicator in the top-right of the HUD shows the current state.
Weather
Effect
Rain/Storm
Water and Electric moves deal +25% damage; Fire moves deal −20% damage.
Sandstorm
Ground and Rock moves get a speed boost, often allowing them to strike first.
Heatwave
Fire moves have a higher chance to inflict the Burn status.
Sunny
No effects given or taken.
Pro tip from the source: if struggling against a specific Island Boss, wait for a weather cycle favoring your team's types for a "free" power boost.
3. Mounts
Flying — while mounted on a flying Evomon, the player can fly across almost the entire map.
Ground Riding — the player can ride a ground mount to move/run faster than on foot.

Beginner Progression Path
1. 3.1 Day-One Starter Meta
Community consensus favors Bubble (Water) for speedrunning the early islands, since Verdant Valley is Rock-type heavy. Choosing Bubble lets players "one-tap" most wild encounters in the first hour and reach the first Island Boss with a clear power advantage.
2. 3.2 The "EXP Fruit" Economy
New players commonly waste hours grinding wild monsters one at a time. A faster loop:
The Shop Merchant sells capture balls and potions.
Large EXP Fruits each grant a massive 10,000 EXP to a single monster.
Tactic: Battling wild mobs yields EXP Fruits; a single fruit is worth hundreds of regular battles. Feed a newly caught monster 2–3 fruits to make it instantly viable for the current island.
3. 3.3 Matching Team to Island Types
Island
Environment
Dominant Types
Best Counters
Verdant Valley
Forest/Caves
Rock, Normal
Water, Grass
Petal Pond
Lakes/Rivers
Water, Bug
Grass, Electric
Lava Crag

The starting island. Clear Aaron and Peter, then defeat the Pobgolem King to unlock Petal Pond.

C
40%
B
55%
A
70%
S
85%
SS
95%
SSS
