1. Bosses & Spawn Times
Bosses are the primary source of better rewards, evolution materials, and exclusive monster eggs.
1.1 Spawn Schedule
Bosses spawn every 15 minutes, aligned to the UTC clock:
- :00, :15, :30, and :45 past every hour
- The timer is global — not a per-server random roll
- A boss is never more than 15 minutes away
- All zone bosses go live simultaneously when the clock ticks
1.2 Boss Zones
| Boss | Zone | Notable Drops |
|---|---|---|
| Flaragon | Volcano Peak | Flaragon Scales, Pyro Eggs, Fire Gems |
| Glazadon | Frost Isle | Glazadon Scales, Ice Eggs, Ice Gems |
| ShadeKnight | Neverland (deepest) | Stardust Shards, Candy Canes; Level 55 achievement |
| Mountusk | Special mountain pathway | Heal Pulse tank monster; Vitalium Stones |
| Flarecrest | Volcano Island | Fire Gems |
| Tidevex | Tideland | Vitalium Stones for Lunavox evolution |
| Frostwyrm | Spirit Grove | Unlocks Level 70 cap |
| Aurobull | — | Refined Ground Gems (for Solron) |
| Turkey Boss | Event Area | Seasonal (Thanksgiving) |
Additional boss zones: Tideland, Blossom Haven, Duneveil Isle, Dragon's Breath, Spirit Grove.
1.3 Individual Boss Guides
Flaragon (Volcano Boss)
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Fire |
| Location | Volcano Island, Peak Arena |
| Spawn Timer | 15 minutes |
| HP | ~5 million |
| Recommended Level | 20+ (solo viable at 25+) |
| Weakness | Water types (1.5× damage) |
| Guaranteed Drop | Pyro Egg (100%) |
| Direct Capture Rate | ~5–35% |
| A-tier stats | 620 ATK / 1,650 HP |
- Climb to the very top of Volcano Island — flat rocky platform at the peak
- Only one Pyro Egg drops; anyone can pick it up — position near where boss dies
- Bring 2 Water types; stay mobile; watch the arena edge
- Solo viable at Level 25+ with B-tier team
- Pyro Egg (20-min hatch): can hatch Flaragon, Blazelord, Noctane (rare legendary), ~5–10% A-tier chance
Glazadon (Frost Boss)
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Ice |
| Location | Frost Island, large icy arena |
| Spawn Timer | 15–20 minutes |
| HP | ~15 million |
| Recommended Level | 30+ |
| Weakness | Fire types (1.5× damage) |
| Guaranteed Drop | Ice Egg (100%) |
| A-tier stats | 700 ATK / 1,870 HP (~20–30% higher than most A-tiers) |
- MUST bring Fire types — this is the biggest damage swing in the game
- Group farming recommended; solo fights take 5–10 min+
- Ice Egg (30-min hatch): can hatch Frostbite, Icicle, Glazadon (~5–10% chance)
- Consider the single best naturally obtainable boss monster in the game
Mountusk (Tank Boss)
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Normal/Tank |
| Location | New Boss Area (mountain pathway from central area) |
| Spawn Timer | 15–20 minutes |
| HP | ~15M + healing phases |
| Recommended Level | 30+ |
| Special Drop | Spirit Branch Herb (very rare; needed for B-rank fusions — 8 herbs required) |
| A-tier stats | 500 ATK / 2,200 HP (highest HP in game) |
Healing Phase Mechanic:
- ~50% HP: First heal — must out-damage the healing
- ~25% HP: Second, stronger heal — final push
- Strategy: Bring maximum DPS (not tanks); burst damage during heal phases; coordinate with other players
Spirit Branch Herb: ~4 herbs per 30 kills (very low rate). Required for B-rank fusion of certain pets. Farm patiently.
ShadeKnight (Neverland Boss) — Best for Materials
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Dark/Shadow |
| Location | Neverland — run straight north from spawn to end of map |
| Spawn Timer | 5 minutes (fastest of all bosses) |
| HP | ~8,000–12,000 |
| Recommended Level | 25+ |
| Guaranteed Drop | Stardust Shard (1–2 per kill, 100%) |
| Event Drop | Candy Canes (5–15 per kill during Christmas) |
| Rare Drop | ShadeKnight Egg (~10–15%), Dark Gems (~5%) |
- Best boss for evolution materials — 12 Stardust Shards/hour (2× more efficient than any other boss)
- Dark Gems: 3× Refined Dark Gems required for Eclipse Knight evolution
- Server hop immediately after kill — 5-min respawn means another server almost certainly has it alive
- Find it: purple glow, stone pillars at deepest part of Neverland
- Solo at Level 30+ with Glazadon + Flarecrest; ~2-minute fight
Neverland Navigation:
- Set spawn point at Neverland Heal Pole on first visit (enables teleport from map)
- Best XP spot nearby: Nightclaw spawns at Island Center (704 XP each — best in game)
- Waterfall area (northwest): Dream Tane spawns + Flora spawn island visible to the LEFT
Recommended Teams by Boss
| Boss | Recommended Team |
|---|---|
| Flaragon | 2× Water types + 1 high DPS |
| Glazadon | 2× Fire types (Flaragon/Noctane) + 1 high DPS |
| Mountusk | 3× maximum ATK monsters (DPS over tanks) |
| ShadeKnight | Glazadon + Flarecrest/Gingerjoy + Mountusk (healer) |
Gem Sources by Boss (for Evolution)
| Gem Type | Primary Boss Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Gem | Blazelord (Volcano Island, ~15-min respawn) | Common supplement gem |
| Water Gem | Tidevex (Tideland Island) + Tideland Rift | Eclipse Knight needs 11× Refined Water |
| Ice Gem | Frostwyrm (Spirit Grove, primary) / Glazadon (secondary) | Spirit Grove = Level 65+ content |
| Plant/Grass Gem | Sproutusk (Forest/Grass Island) | Smaller quantities needed |
| Dark Gem | ShadeKnight (Neverland) | Eclipse Knight: 3× Refined Dark required |
| Ground Gem | Aurobull (Duneveil Isle) | 1–3 Refined Ground per kill; Solron needs 21× |
Eclipse Knight full gem requirement: 11× Refined Water + 3× Refined Dark + others (avg. 10–25 evolution attempts = 130–325+ Refined Gems total)
Gem crafting: 3× Raw Gem (same type) + 1× Stardust Shard = 1× Refined Gem (75% success = ~1.33 raws per refined on average)
Gem farming tips:
- Server-hop between public servers — kill boss, grab gems, switch, repeat (4–8 servers per respawn cycle)
- Use Rainy weather for gem farming runs (bosses also drop coins; +30% coin bonus compounds)
- Don't use Gem Boxes when you need a specific type (randomness is wasteful)
- Farm Aurobull for Refined Ground Gems directly (drops Refined occasionally, not just Raw)
1.4 Boss Preparation
- Bring rank. Boss HP rewards raw damage — high-rank pets do far more than a full team of low-rank ones.
- Bring the right element. Match your team to the boss's elemental weakness.
- Be in the zone early. Load into the area before the quarter-hour so you're hitting instantly on spawn.
1.5 Server Hop for Boss Farming
Use the Server Hop tool (catchamonsterhub.com/server-hop) to jump into a populated server just before a spawn. More players = faster boss kill. Arrive ~30 seconds early.
1.6 Mountusk — Special Notes
Mountusk has a Heal Phase mechanic and is a tanky boss. Excellent early-to-mid Spire pet; falls off at floors 80+.
1.7 ShadeKnight
- Located in Neverland's deepest area — run straight north from spawn until you can't go further; look for dark purple glow and stone pillars
- Fastest boss to kill (~2 minutes per fight when solo)
- 5-minute respawn timer (fastest of all bosses — server hop for ~10–12 kills/hour)
- Best source of Stardust Shards (guaranteed 1–2 per kill)
- Also drops Candy Canes (5–15 per kill during Christmas event) and ShadeKnight Egg (~10–15% drop rate)
- Defeating it once unlocks the "Boss Killer: ShadeKnight" achievement → Level 55 cap for all pets
- Stardust Shard farming comparison: ShadeKnight = 12 shards/hour; Mountusk = 6/hour; Flaragon/Flarecrest = 4/hour — ShadeKnight is 2× more efficient than any other boss for evolution materials
- Dark Gems: ShadeKnight also drops Dark Gems, a key supplement gem for Eclipse Knight evolution (3× Refined Dark Gems required)
Neverland Map Key Locations:
- Spawn Point (south): Heal Pole here — set spawn on first visit for fast teleport
- Island Center: Nightclaw spawns (704 XP each — best XP/hour in game), Blossom/Rosette Eggs
- Waterfall Area (northwest): Dream Tane spawns (5–7 spots); Flora spawn island visible to the LEFT
- Dolce Fay Territory (east): Mid-difficulty monsters
- Dark Forest Paths (north-center): Follow purple glow toward boss
- ShadeKnight Arena (north/deepest area): Large circular arena, stone pillars, no wild spawns
Neverland Monster XP:
| Monster | XP per Kill | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Dream Tane | 400 XP | Early Neverland |
| Dolce Fay | 550 XP | Mid-tier farming |
| Nightclaw | 704 XP | Best XP/hour in game |
| ShadeKnight (boss) | 300–500 XP + drops | Material farming |
1. Catching Monsters
Capture process:
- Approach the monster — your equipped pets auto-attack
- Weaken it to roughly 10–20% HP without defeating it
- Press E when the capture prompt appears
- Lower HP = higher catch rate
Catch rate tools:
- Christmas Ball — best catch odds, especially for rare pets
- Ripple Ball — standard catch ball
- Pet Snack (from Spire Shop) — +200% catch rate for 5 minutes; combine with Ripple Ball for 100% catch rate on Rift monsters (Undine, Mechavolt, Eclipse Knight)
5-second egg protection window (Rifts): After a Rift boss dies, only the player who dealt the killing blow can grab the egg for the first 5 seconds. After that, anyone can pick it up.
1. Controls
| Action | PC | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Movement | WASD / Arrow Keys | Virtual Joystick |
| Attack | Left Mouse Click | Tap Attack Button |
| Interact / Capture | E Key | Tap E Button |
| Jump | Spacebar | Jump Button |
| Mount Pet | M Key | Mount Button |
| Open Menu | Tab / Escape | Menu Icon |
1. Core Game Loop
Strip away the complexity and the loop is:
- Catch monsters. Each zone has unique spawns; explore to find and capture them.
- Build a party of three. You fight with exactly three pets simultaneously — the game rewards a balanced trio over one dominant pet.
- Fight content to grow. Clear zones, run Delve Trials dungeons, do Rifts, and hit timed bosses that spawn every 15 minutes.
- Rank up and evolve. Pets gain power as rank climbs (E → SS/S) and many evolve into stronger forms. Stronger pets unlock harder content with better rewards.
Every decision in the game traces back to doing this loop faster.
1. Eggs & Hatching
Eggs hatch into monsters and can contain rare or high-rank variants.
1.1 Egg Types
| Egg Type | Source | Can Hatch |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Egg | Volcano Island (craters, lava pools) | Blazelord, Ember, Noctane (rare legendary) |
| Ice Egg | Frost Island (caves, crystal fields) | Frostbite, Icicle, Glaciara |
| Water Egg | Water areas / Tideland | Water-type monsters |
| Boss Egg | Boss drops | High-tier monsters specific to that boss |
| Pyro Egg | Flaragon boss specifically | Fire-type monsters |
| Event Eggs | Limited events | Event-exclusive monsters |
1.2 Egg Hatch Times (Post-Weather Update)
| Egg Type | Old Time | New Time | Reduction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boss Eggs | 90 min | 30 min | −66% |
| Ice Eggs | 90 min | 30 min | −66% |
| Fire Eggs | 60 min | 20 min | −66% |
| Water Eggs | 30 min | 10 min | −66% |
| Event Eggs | 90 min | 30 min | −66% |
With hatching speed boosts: a 30-minute egg + 50% boost = 15 minutes.
1.3 Hatch Rate Improvements
- Luck Gamepasses improve odds of higher-rank hatches
- Friend Luck system (see below) also improves hatch rates
- Higher-tier eggs (Ice Egg, Boss Egg) have better base rates for rare/Huge mutations
1.4 Friend Luck System
| Friends in Server | Luck Bonus | A-Rank Chance | S-Rank Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 (Solo) | 0% (base) | 5% | 1% |
| 1 Friend | +10% | 6% | 1.2% |
| 2–3 Friends | +20% | 7% | 1.5% |
| 4+ Friends | +30% | 8% | 2% |
- Only applies to Roblox friends (not in-game contacts) in the same server simultaneously
- Caps at 30% bonus (4+ friends)
- Works in private servers
1. Elements & Type Chart
Every pet belongs to one of 6 elements: Normal, Grass/Plant, Water, Fire, Ice, and Ground/Earth. You field 3 pets, so spreading elements across your team is almost always better than stacking one type.
1.1 Offensive Matchup Chart
| Element | Strong Against | Weak Into (avoid) |
|---|---|---|
| Fire | Grass, Ice | Water, Ground |
| Water | Fire, Ground | Ice, Grass |
| Grass | Water, Ground | Fire, Ice |
| Ice | Water, Grass | Fire, Ground |
| Ground | Fire, Ice | Water, Grass |
| Normal | — (neutral) | — (neutral) |
Normal is not strong against anything, but nothing resists it either. Normal pets earn their slot on raw stats — several of the strongest monsters in the game are Normal-type.
Note: Some sources also list Electric-type as effective against Water and Flying-type enemies in specific content.
1. Endless Spire
The Endless Spire is the primary endgame system and the main source of Tower Gems — the currency for Arcane Spark Stones, Potential Serums, and Red Rift Portals.
1.1 Basics
- Location: Left of the Pet Center on Starter Island. Talk to NPC Echo (Tower Manager) to enter.
- Season reset: Every 10 days. You keep Tower Gems but lose floor progress.
- No checkpoints: If you die or exit completely, you restart from Floor 1.
- Room bosses: Every 10 floors there is a boss room.
1.2 Daily Tower Gems Income
- Approximately 4,800 Tower Gems per day from normal runs
Re-entry farming trick (bonus gems):
- Clear all enemies on a floor except one
- Exit the Spire with 1 enemy remaining
- Re-enter — you return to that floor
- Kill the last enemy to collect bonus Tower Gems
- Repeat for extra daily income
1.3 Best Teams by Floor Range
Floors 1–50:
- 3× Mountusk or Glazadon + Flarecrest
- ⚠️ Floor 49–50 boss deals 200% extra damage to Earth types — swap Mountusk out for Glazadon/Flarecrest for Floor 50
- Squad Swap trick: if your team wipes on a boss, equip a second team fast — sometimes boss HP does not reset
Floors 50–100:
- Eclipse Knight A + Undine B + Tidevex
- Eclipse Knight's shield mechanic dramatically improves survivability
- Undine's stun lets you interrupt dangerous boss attacks
Floors 100–104 (Current Wall, Feb 2026):
- 2× Eclipse Knight A+10 + Kitsunine A or Undine B
- Top players (Feb 2026) reaching Floors 108–110
- Leaderboard visible at Spire entrance
1.4 Floor 104 Difficulty Wall
Floor 104 is the current endgame wall due to a Sprouttusk enemy with no cooldown on its Seed Bomb attack (fires continuously; likely a bug). Workaround: maximum stun (Kitsunine + Undine) to interrupt. Eclipse Knight shields absorb some damage. No fix as of Feb 2026.
1.5 Floor 50 Boss Counter
The Floor 50 boss deals 200% extra damage to Earth types. Mountusk (Earth type) gets one-shot.
Solutions:
- 3× Glazadon — balanced HP/damage, no Earth penalty
- 3× Flarecrest — glass cannon, kills boss before being hit
- 2× Mountusk + 1× Glazadon — let Glazadon tank the boss
1.6 Spire Shop Priorities (Feb 2026)
| Item | Cost | Weekly Stock | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arcane Spark Stone | 500 Tower Gems | 32/week | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Priority |
| Red Rift Portal | Cheap | 10/week | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High |
| Potential Serum | 500 Tower Gems | Very limited | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High |
| XP Potions | 300 Tower Gems | Available | ⭐⭐⭐ Medium |
| Pet Snack | — | Available | ⭐⭐⭐ Medium (for Rift catches) |
| Aquilune pet | 12,000 Tower Gems | 1/week | ⭐⭐ Niche |
Arcane Stone price: Reduced from 900 → 500 Tower Gems on February 20, 2026 (major F2P improvement).
1.7 General Spire Tips
- Focus fire small mobs first to reduce incoming damage before boss rooms
- Always fill all 3 pet slots — a second or third pet can carry after the first dies
- Log off inside the Spire only if you have reached your target floor for the day
- Plan big purchases around the 10-day reset cycle; gems carry over but weekly shop stock resets independently
- Private Server Spire: run in a private server for less interference
1. Enhancement System (EM%, Arcane Stones)
Enhancement is the layer on top of rank, level, and evolution that takes a good monster to exceptional.
1.1 EM% (Enhancement Modifier)
EM% is a stat multiplier applied when a monster is evolved. Higher EM% = better stats.
| EM% Value | Quality |
|---|---|
| 140% | Minimum (floor) |
| 155–169% | Below average |
| 170–189% | Average |
| 190–209% | Good — target for competitive play |
| 210–220% | Excellent — best in slot |
| 220% | Maximum (ceiling) |
Targets: Aim for 190%+ on main team monsters. For your top carry (e.g., Eclipse Knight A+10), aim for 210%+.
EM% is set at evolution and can only be changed with a Chaos Potion.
1.2 Chaos Potion
Rerolls EM% to a new random value (140–220 range). The result can be higher OR lower.
- Community average: 6–8 potions before hitting a satisfying EM%
- Some players spend 15+ without reaching their target
- Strategy: Decide on your target EM% before starting (190% is a solid stop for most). Use one at a time; stop when you hit or exceed your target.
How to get Chaos Potions: Event boss drops (rare), Event Shop during limited events, craft using Reversion Potions as a component. Cannot be purchased from the permanent shop.
⚠️ Reversion Potion warning: There is a known bug where pets can disappear after using a Reversion Potion (which reverts an evolution back to base form). Do not use on your best monsters until the bug is confirmed fixed.
1.3 Potential Serums
Directly boost a monster's stat potential, independent of EM%.
| Detail | Info |
|---|---|
| Effect | Increases monster stat potential |
| Cost | 500 Tower Gems each (Spire Shop) |
| Stock | Very limited weekly supply |
| Success Rate | Decreases with each use on the same monster |
Strategy: Do not dump all Serums on one monster at once. Use no more than 3–4 per monster before moving on — success rate degrades per use.
1.4 Arcane Spark Stones (B → A Rank Fusion)
To ascend a monster from B-rank to A-rank, you need:
| Item | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Same-species B-rank monsters | 5× |
| Arcane Spark Stones | 17× |
Arcane Spark Stone cost (as of February 20, 2026):
- 500 Tower Gems each (reduced from 900)
- 32 available per week in Spire Shop
- Cost per B→A fusion: 17 × 500 = 8,500 Tower Gems
1.5 A+10 Ascension (Eclipse Knight and others)
After reaching A-rank, use individual Arcane Spark Stones to ascend:
- Each "+1" level = 1 Arcane Spark Stone
- Maximum: A+10 (10 stones total)
- A+10 significantly enhances base stats and skill potency
- Eclipse Knight at A+10 can survive Spire floors 100+ and Red Rifts
1.6 Weekly Tower Gem Budget
| Expense | Cost per Week |
|---|---|
| All 32 Arcane Stones | 16,000 Tower Gems |
| Daily earning (baseline) | ~33,600 Tower Gems/week (~4,800/day) |
| Remaining for Serums + Rifts | ~17,600 Tower Gems |
1. Evolution System
Evolution transforms a base monster into a more powerful form. Many evolutions branch into different elemental variants depending on the materials used.
1.1 Currently Evolvable Bosses (main game)
- Flaragon (Fire Boss) — evolves into elemental variants
- Glazadon (Ice Boss) — evolves into elemental variants
- Gildron → Solron (Valentine event)
- ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight (secret evolution)
- Dragon Mount → Fire Dragon or Necro Dragon
1.2 Evolution Materials
| Material | Source | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Stardust Shard / Stardust Cluster | All boss kills (~10–30% drop rate); ShadeKnight fastest | Required for all evolutions |
| Raw Fire/Water/Plant/Ice Gem | Boss drops (element-matched bosses) | Base evolution material (~40–50% success) |
| Refined Fire/Water/Plant/Ice Gem | Craft from 3× Raw Gem + 1× Stardust Shard | Higher success rate (75–90%) |
Gem crafting recipe:
3x Raw Gem (same type) + 1x Stardust Shard = 1x Refined Gem
1.3 Flaragon Evolution Chains
Flarecub → Flaragon → branches into:
- Flaragflora (Grass/Plant variant) — using Plant gems
- Flaragfrost (Ice variant) — using Ice gems
- Flaragaqua (Water variant) — using Water gems
- Flaragblaze (Fire variant) — using Fire gems
1.4 Glazadon Evolution Chains
Icevolf → Glazadon → branches into:
- Glazadonbloom (Plant)
- Glazadonwave (Water)
- Glazadonflare (Fire)
- Glazadonfroz (Ice)
- (Additional variants possible)
1.5 Eclipse Knight — Secret Evolution
- Path: ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight
- Materials required: 3× each Refined Gem type + 8× Refined Water Gems
- Success rate: RNG-based; average 10–25 attempts
- Why it matters: Eclipse Knight is the #1 endgame monster (S Tier)
1.6 Solron Evolution
- Path: Gildron → Solron
- Materials: 21× Refined Ground Gems (farm from Aurobull)
- Obtained via Valentine 2026 event chain
1.7 Evolution Type Comparison (Fire / Water / Plant)
| Stat | Fire 🔥 | Water 💧 | Plant 🌱 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Boost | +50% | -20% | +30% |
| HP Boost | -30% | +60% | +30% |
| Defense Boost | -10% | +20% | +15% |
| Best For | Bosses, speed | Spire, survivability | Balanced / new players |
Always use Refined Gems — failed evolutions permanently consume all materials.
1.8 Evolution step-by-step
- Farm Stardust Shards from ShadeKnight (fastest respawn; ~10–30% drop)
- Collect Raw Gems from element-matching bosses
- Craft Refined Gems at the Evolution Station
- Open Inventory → Evolution tab → select monster → choose element gem path → check Success Rate (aim for 75%+) → confirm
1.9 Best Farming Route for Materials
ShadeKnight Speed Farm (~5 min/cycle):
- Teleport to Neverland
- Go to the deepest area (end of map)
- Defeat ShadeKnight (fast fight)
- Collect Stardust Shard + Candy Canes
- Server hop for instant respawn
Expected per hour: 8–12 Stardust Shards, 15–25 Raw Gems, 3–5 Refined Gems (crafted)
1. Fusion System
Fusion is the primary progression mechanic. Combining 5 same-tier monsters creates 1 monster of the next higher tier.
Location: Pet Center on Starter Island (interact with the Fuse NPC)
Formula: 5 Same-Tier Monsters + Coins = 1 Higher-Tier Monster (random species)
1.1 Fusion Cost Breakdown
| Starting Tier | Result Tier | Coin Cost per Fusion | Monsters Required |
|---|---|---|---|
| E | D | 100 coins | 5 E-tier |
| D | C | 300 coins | 5 D-tier |
| C | B | 700 coins | 5 C-tier |
| B | A | 1,500 coins | 5 B-tier |
1.2 Total Cost: E → A (from scratch)
| Target Tier | E-tier Monsters Needed | Total Coins |
|---|---|---|
| D | 5 | 100 |
| C | 25 | 600 |
| B | 125 | 4,100 |
| A | 625 | ~17,500 |
One A-tier monster from scratch requires roughly 3,125 E-tier monsters and ~17,000 coins. In practice you'll catch higher-tier monsters naturally, reducing this number significantly.
1.3 Key Fusion Rules
- All 5 must be the same tier — cannot mix tiers
- Species doesn't matter — you can mix any species of the same tier
- Result species is random from the pool available at that tier
- Fusion is instant — no wait time
- Fusion is irreversible — the 5 input monsters are consumed permanently
1.4 Shiny Preservation Mechanic (Critical)
1 Shiny + 4 normal same-rank monsters = 1 Shiny result
The Shiny property transfers through fusions. You only need 1 Shiny — using 5 shinies in one fusion is wasteful. Start with any E-rank Shiny and fuse up through all tiers to eventually get a Shiny A-rank.
Never sell or fuse away a Shiny as fodder. Enable pet locking to prevent accidental Auto-Sell.
1.5 Fusion Strategies
- Continuous Farm: Catch everything, immediately fuse E into D as they accumulate, chain upward. Best for efficiency.
- Batch Method: Accumulate monsters, then do massive fusion sessions when storage is nearly full.
- Targeted Approach: Research which species appear in the fusion pool at your target tier, only fuse when possible results include your target.
1.6 Fusion Mistakes to Avoid
- Fusing a Shiny as one of the 4 "normal" slots (only need 1 Shiny)
- Accidentally fusing your Aquron mount
- Fusing pets with gear still equipped (gear gets stuck — bug)
- Not accounting for boss eggs, which can give high-tier monsters directly
1. Game Passes
| Pass | Price (Robux) | Effect | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pet Inventory +100 | 59 | +100 storage slots | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MUST BUY — best value in the game |
| Ultra Luck (+300%) | 599 | 4× base catch/hatch luck | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended |
| 2x EXP | 799 | Double all XP gained permanently | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended |
| VIP Pass | 199 | Status badge + minor perks | ⭐⭐ Optional (support developers) |
| Luck +100% | 299 | 2× base luck | Skip — get Ultra Luck instead |
| Extra Luck (+200%) | 999 | 3× base luck | Skip — Ultra Luck is better value at lower price |
1.1 Luck Pass Details
| Luck Level | Catch Rate | Est. Shiny Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Base (0%) | 1× | ~1 in 1,000 |
| +100% | 2× | ~1 in 500 |
| +200% | 3× | ~1 in 333 |
| +300% (Ultra Luck) | 4× | ~1 in 250 |
⚠️ Luck passes do NOT stack. Only your highest-tier pass applies. Don't buy multiple luck passes.
⚠️ Luck Gamepasses do NOT affect: Secret evolution RNG (ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight), Enhancement success rates, or Gear quality rolls. They only affect catch/hatch grade quality.
1.2 Recommended Purchase Order
- Pet Inventory +100 (59 Robux) — Cheapest, most universally useful. Storage fills up fast.
- Ultra Luck (599 Robux) — Best luck-per-Robux ratio. Major catching and shiny hunting improvement.
- 2x EXP (799 Robux) — Cuts leveling time in half permanently. Stacks with XP potions.
- VIP Pass (199 Robux) — Optional; mostly cosmetic/support.
Total recommended: 1,457 Robux
1.3 F2P Viability
The game is fully playable F2P. All monsters, max level, all bosses, and all events are accessible without spending. Passes speed things up but are never required.
F2P tips: Use all codes for free items and boosts; farm efficiently during weather events; focus on gameplay over collecting rate.

- Unlock Level 70 cap by defeating Frostwyrm
- Solron evolution materials found here
- Cobaltwing — rarest wild spawn
1.6 Endless Spire Monster Distribution
| Layer | Floor Range | Monster Tiers |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1–5 | E, D |
| 2 | 6–10 | D, C |
| 3 | 11–15 | C, B |
| 4 | 16–20 | B, A |
| 5+ | 21+ | A, S |
1.7 Spawn Mechanics
- Common monsters: 1–2 min respawn
- Uncommon monsters: 2–3 min respawn
- Rare monsters: 3–5 min respawn
- Eggs: 10–20 min respawn
- Bosses: 15 min respawn (global UTC clock)
Spawn rate factors: Server population (fewer players = more spawns), time since last clear, location density, Luck game passes.
1.8 Rare Spawn Hunting Tips
- Use Luck game passes to improve rates
- Server hop to fresh servers
- Farm during off-peak hours for less competition
- Check hidden alcoves / caves for egg spawns
1. Monster Tiers & Rarity
Every monster has a tier/rarity that determines base power and drop chance.
1.1 Tier Table
| Tier | Quality | Spawn Rate | Power Level | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| E | Common | ~45% | Lowest | Fusion fodder, early game |
| D | Uncommon | ~30% | Low | Fusion material, mid-early |
| C | Rare | ~15% | Medium | Solid mid-game monsters |
| B | Epic | ~7% | High | Endgame viable |
| A | Legendary | ~2.5% | Very High | Top-tier content |
| S | Mythic | ~0.5% | Highest | Best in game |
| Secret | — | Very rare | — | Chase pets (CAM Hub notation) |
| Void | — | Rarest | — | Top chase pets (CAM Hub notation) |
Key Insight: Higher tier monsters have better stat scaling when leveled. An A-tier at level 40 far outperforms an E-tier at the same level. However, rank multiplies stats — a well-ranked lower-rarity monster can outperform a low-ranked higher-rarity one. Never judge by rarity alone.
1. Mutations
Mutations are rare, permanent variants a pet can spawn with — a layer of power that stacks on top of rarity and rank. Bonuses apply multiplicatively, so a Shiny on a high-rank pet multiplies an already-large number. You cannot add a mutation to a pet you already own — you must catch a new one that rolled it.
1.1 All Mutation Types
| Mutation | Stat Bonuses | Base Spawn Chance | Bloodmoon Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shiny | +10% ATK · +30% Crit Rate · Crit Damage fixed at 200% | 0.01% | 0.3% (30× normal) |
| Huge | +40% ATK · +40% HP | 0.001% | 0.013% |
| Bloodlit | +10% Crit Rate · +100% Crit Damage | — (Bloodmoon only) | 0.5% |
| Fairy | +25% Damage Reduction · +25% Cooldown Reduction | Not yet documented | — |
| Corruption | Cosmetic only — no stat bonuses (yet) | Not yet documented | — |
Source: CAM Hub. Bonuses apply multiplicatively on top of rank multiplier.
1.2 Bloodmoon Weather — The Mutation Window
Bloodmoon is a rare weather event and the only time Bloodlit can spawn. All other mutations also become dramatically more likely:
| Mutation | Normal | During Bloodmoon |
|---|---|---|
| Shiny | 0.01% | 0.3% (30× more likely) |
| Huge | 0.001% | 0.013% |
| Bloodlit | 0% (impossible outside Bloodmoon) | 0.5% |
During Bloodmoon: switch to active catching and egg hatching immediately. Open Red Rifts during Bloodmoon for a chance at Bloodlit Eclipse Knight or Undine. Outside of Bloodmoon, treat mutations as lucky bonuses rather than farming targets.
1.3 Shiny
- Alternate color scheme with sparkle effect visible in the overworld
- Bonuses: +10% ATK, +30% Crit Rate, Crit Damage fixed at 200%
- Transfers through fusion: 1 Shiny + 4 normal same-rank = 1 Shiny result — only 1 Shiny needed per fusion chain
- Never use a Shiny as one of the 4 "normal" filler slots — that wastes a Shiny slot
- Enable pet locking immediately on any Shiny — Auto-Sell can accidentally remove them
- Strategy: Start with any E-rank Shiny and fuse up through all tiers toward a Shiny A-rank
1.4 Huge
- Significantly larger physical size; +40% ATK and +40% HP
- Best all-round stat line of any mutation
- Rarest base-game roll (0.001% base)
- No confirmed special weather bonus for Huge specifically
- Higher-tier eggs (Ice Egg, Tidevex Egg) have better base Huge chances
- Never fuse away a Huge early — even Huge E-rank is extremely valuable
- Building a Huge A-rank is a months-long goal for casual players
1.5 Bloodlit
- Dark-red visual effect
- +10% Crit Rate · +100% Crit Damage (pure crit-damage build)
- No HP or ATK base boost — purely offensive via crits
- Only spawns during Bloodmoon weather (0.5% during Bloodmoon, impossible otherwise)
- Best paired with Shiny's crit rate boost for maximum crit synergy
Community note (March 2026): Bloodlit is considered undertuned — requires Bloodmoon and only grants crit with no HP unlike Shiny and Huge. Many players have requested a buff. No change announced as of March 2026.
1.6 Fairy
- +25% Damage Reduction · +25% Cooldown Reduction
- Defensive/utility mutation — trades offence for survivability and ability uptime
- Best suited for tank or bruiser roles; pairs well with Mountusk or Eclipse Knight
- Spawn rates not yet fully documented
1.7 Corruption
- Cosmetic only — no stat bonuses currently
- Spawn rates not yet documented
- May receive stat bonuses in a future update
1.8 When to Chase Mutations
- Don't grind on a normal day. At 0.01% and lower, ranking up existing pets gives far more value per hour.
- Farm actively during Bloodmoon. Shiny hits 0.3% (30×), Bloodlit unlocks at 0.5% — the only real mutation farming window.
- Match mutation to role: Huge for all-round carry, Shiny or Bloodlit for crit builds, Fairy for tanky survivors.
1.9 Shiny + Huge Combination (Community Reported)
Get a Shiny C-rank and a Huge C-rank of the same species → fuse 3 normal + 1 Shiny + 1 Huge → chance to carry both mutations. Not 100% confirmed but widely reported.
1. Game Overview
Catch a Monster is a monster-catching RPG on Roblox created by LDS II / Lightning Dragon Studio. Players explore multiple islands, battle wild monsters, capture them, and train them to grow stronger. The game features a deep progression system with monster tiers, fusion mechanics, evolution paths, boss battles, Rifts, and the Endless Spire tower.
Often described as "Pokémon meets Roblox," the game has a thriving multiplayer community with regular updates. Players explore 6+ island biomes, with up to 3 pets equipped at a time across 6 core elements. As of early 2026, over 75–200 monsters are documented in the game.
Core premise: Fight content → catch better monsters → rank/evolve them → fight harder content → repeat.
1. Pet Gear System
Pet Gear was introduced in the February 20, 2026 Valentine update. Each pet has one gear slot that accepts one gear item.
1.1 Gear Tiers
| Tier | Color | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Common | White | Basic stats, easy to get |
| Uncommon | Green | Slightly better than Common |
| Rare | Blue | First noticeable improvement |
| Legendary | Gold/Purple | Strong stats, farmable |
| Mythic | Special | Highest tier, monster-specific versions |
1.2 How to Get Gear
- Gear Event Tab: Limited-time gear rewards and drops; check regularly
- Craft Store (Rolling): Spend coins for random gear rolls. Expected cost for Mythic: approximately 4–5 million coins per roll attempt. Community estimate for reliably landing Mythic: 50–100 million coins — treat as a long-term goal.
1.3 Notable Gear
- Gale Wingblade (Mythic): Designed specifically for Kitsunine. The top-tier gear item from the Valentine update. Significantly enhances Kitsunine's performance in Rifts and the Spire.
1.4 Gear Tips
- Lock all Legendary and Mythic gear immediately to prevent accidental selling
- Unequip gear BEFORE fusing or feeding a pet — there is a known bug where gear gets stuck during fusion while equipped
- Legendary gear sometimes gets auto-sold despite being locked (rare bug — reported)
- Gear rolling traits are also random; a Mythic with poor traits (e.g., +Coin Drop instead of +ATK%) can be frustrating
Community requests (March 2026): Mythic Gear Pity System, Trait Reroll item, and auto-sell button for gear below a chosen tier. None announced as of March 2026.

1.5 Power Leveling Strategies
Strategy 1 — Fodder Farming (most consistent): Farm E/D-tier monsters on Starter Island → fill inventory → feed all to main team → repeat.
Strategy 2 — Boss Chain: Kill Flaragon or ShadeKnight → server hop immediately → kill again. No waiting. Bonus: eggs and materials drop simultaneously.
Strategy 3 — Spire Grinding: Clear all monsters each floor for max XP; use re-entry trick for bonus Tower Gems.
Strategy 4 — Snowy Weather + XP Potion: +30% XP (weather) × 2 (potion) = 2.6× XP multiplier. Level 50→55 takes ~3 hours instead of ~8 hours.
Strategy 5 — Combined Method (recommended): Morning: fodder farm (30 min) → Midday: boss chain (1 hour) → Afternoon: Spire (1 hour) → Evening: boss farm + feeding session.
1.6 Leveling Priority
- Main DPS monster (highest tier/rank you own)
- Type-advantage specialists (for boss farming)
- Secondary carry or bruiser
- Utility / tank (last)
Feed everything you don't need. Don't release catches — feed them for XP.
26. Eclipse Knight — Complete Acquisition Guide
Eclipse Knight is the #1 endgame monster as of February 2026. It is a Secret Evolution of ShadeKnight, not a catchable wild monster.
1.7 Why Eclipse Knight is S-Tier
- Shield mechanic absorbs damage for the entire team
- A+10 (max ascension) can carry your team through Spire floors 100+ and Red Rifts
- Best monster for: Endless Spire, Red Rifts, Boss Farming — everything
1.8 How to Get Eclipse Knight
Step 1: Farm ShadeKnight Eggs
- Farm ShadeKnight in Neverland (5-min respawn; ~10–15% egg drop rate)
- Hatch the ShadeKnight Egg (90-min hatch time)
- You need a ShadeKnight at a decent rank — higher rank = better Eclipse Knight base
Step 2: Farm the Gem Combo Secret Evolution requires a specific gem combination:
- 3× each Refined Gem type (Fire, Water, Ice, Plant, Dark) = 15 Refined Gems
- Plus 8× additional Refined Water Gems = 11× Refined Water total
- Gem sources: Tidevex (Water), ShadeKnight (Dark), Frostwyrm/Glazadon (Ice), Blazelord (Fire), Sproutusk (Plant/Grass)
Step 3: Attempt the Secret Evolution
- Average success rate: approximately 1 in 10–25 attempts
- Every attempt consumes all materials regardless of success
- Average total material cost: 130–325+ Refined Gems for one Eclipse Knight
- The recipe is consumed on every failed attempt — farm patiently
Step 4: Ascend to A+10
- Each "+1" ascension = 1 Arcane Spark Stone (500 Tower Gems from Spire Shop)
- 10 Spark Stones for A+10
- At A+10, Eclipse Knight's shield is strong enough for Rifts and Spire floors 80+
1.9 Eclipse Knight Progression Path
New player → Flarecrest/Glazadon → Mountusk → Tidevex → ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight → Undine (via Red Rift)
27. Beginner Progression Path
- Spawn on Starter Island — learn controls, catch first monsters
- Get Aquron — find it on the beach (press M to mount and swim)
- Use the Revival Pond on Starter Island — fully heals all pets for free
- Redeem active codes for free coins and eggs immediately
- Fuse consistently — E → D as fodder accumulates; don't let E-tiers pile up
- Travel to Volcano Island with Aquron — better monsters, better rewards
- Challenge Flaragon — first major boss; farm scales and eggs
- Farm rank — take your best pet toward A-rank before chasing new ones
- Explore Frost Island — endgame mid-tier area with Glazadon
- Enter Endless Spire (accessible from Level 20+) — tower gems income begins
- Defeat ShadeKnight (Neverland) — unlocks Level 55 cap for all pets; Stardust Shards
- Target Glazadon / Flaragon evolution — first major power spike
- Work toward Red Rifts — get Eclipse Knight + Undine for endgame
1.10 Early Game Focus
- Build a team of D-tier monsters
- Don't worry about higher tiers yet
- Focus on E → D fusion to build your first team
1.11 Mid Game (Level 15–25)
- Push for C-tier through fusion
- Start boss farming (Flaragon)
- Consider Luck game passes
1.12 Late Game (Level 25–40)
- Fuse toward A-tier main team
- Begin Shiny fusion chains
- Farm boss eggs for direct A-tier drops
1.13 End Game
- Complete A-tier team
- Evolve Glazadon and Flaragon
- Chase Eclipse Knight via Red Rifts
- Optimize EM%, Arcane Stones, and gear
28. Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Ignoring rank. Catching a fifth low-rank pet rarely beats ranking up one you already field. Power comes from rank as much as from rarity.
- Running three of one element. Triple-element teams are walled by resistant content. Spread coverage.
- Selling or fusing Shinies. A Shiny at any rank is the start of an eventual Shiny A-tier. Protect them all.
- Evolving Glazadon / Flaragon without enough Refined Gems. Failed evolutions waste hours of farming. Always use 75%+ success rate gems.
- Not checking storage before mass-catching. Run out of space and you lose potential catches.
- Fusing with gear equipped. Gear gets stuck — always unequip first.
- Using Chaos Potions on B-rank monsters. Only use on A-rank or S-rank. Wasting potions on B-rank is inefficient.
- Investing in Lunavox (Feb 2026). It has broken mechanics. Wait for a patch.
- Searching Frost Isle for Flora. She spawns on the small island LEFT of Neverland, not Frost Isle.
- Skipping codes. Free coins and eggs compound early — redeem before grinding.
- Over-investing in a starter before checking the wiki/tier list. 2 minutes checking saves hours of misplaced investment.
29. FAQ — Common Questions
Q: Is trading available? A: No. Trading is not fully implemented for the general public as of early 2026. It is one of the most requested features. Check for updates in patch notes.
Q: How do I get Spirit Branch Herbs? A: Spirit Branch Herbs are rare drops from the Mountusk boss. They are required to fuse certain pets to B-Rank (8 herbs needed). Drop rate is very low — community reports ~4 herbs per 30 kills. Farm Mountusk patiently.
Q: What is a Frost Crystal? A: Frost Crystal is an evolution material similar to Spirit Branch Herb. It drops from bosses on Frost Island (e.g., Glazadon). Used for fusing and evolving Ice-type monsters.
Q: How many eggs can I hold? A: No limit on eggs in your inventory. However, you can only hatch up to 3 eggs at a time (incubator slots). Always fill all incubator slots before logging off — eggs hatch offline.
Q: Do Luck Gamepasses affect evolution success rate? A: No. Luck Gamepasses only affect catch/hatch grade quality. They have zero effect on secret evolution RNG (e.g., ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight), enhancement success rates, or gear roll quality.
Q: Do luck passes stack? A: No. Only your highest-tier luck pass applies. Buy Ultra Luck (+300%) only — skip the others.
Q: Does the 2× EXP pass stack with XP potions? A: Yes. They multiply together (e.g., 2× EXP × 1.3× Snowy weather × 2× potion = significant multiplier).
Q: Why is Gingerjoy so strong? A: Gingerjoy was released during the December 2025 Holiday Event as a very powerful event monster (D-rank = ~28,000 damage, stronger than most B-ranks at the time). Its power level has since been surpassed by Feb 2026 endgame monsters (Eclipse Knight, Undine, Kitsunine).
Q: Can I AFK farm ShadeKnight? A: No. You must actively participate in the fight — auto-clickers or AFK methods result in your monsters dying.
Q: What is the correct Flora spawn location? A: Small island to the LEFT of Neverland's spawn point. NOT Frost Isle (despite what the Pet Index says). This is a confirmed community correction.
Q: Is the game pay-to-win? A: No. All content is accessible F2P. Game passes accelerate progress but never gate content. Everything can be obtained through regular gameplay.
Q: How often do updates release? A: Approximately every 1–2 weeks. Major updates usually accompany seasonal events.
1. Rank System (E → SS/S)
Rank is the single most underrated stat in the game. A pet's rank multiplies its base damage and HP — the same monster at SS/S-rank is more than 5× as strong as it is at E-rank.
What rank affects: Damage and HP only. Crit chance, element, rarity, and skills do NOT change with rank.
1.1 CAM Hub Rank Table (E → SS)
| Rank | Multiplier (× base) | Step Over Previous |
|---|---|---|
| E | 1.00× | — |
| D | 1.30× | +30% |
| C | 1.69× | +30% |
| B | 2.20× | +30% |
| A | 2.86× | +30% |
| S | 3.71× | +30% |
| SS | 5.20× | +40% |
The SS breakpoint: Every rank from E to S is roughly ×1.30 over the last. SS jumps to 5.20× — a bigger-than-normal leap. Pushing a strong pet to SS has a higher payoff than any earlier rank step.
1.2 catchamonster.com Rank System (Fusion-based, E → S)
This site uses the same E–S letters but frames them via the fusion system:
| Rank Label | Fusion Tier Name | Spawn Rate |
|---|---|---|
| E | Common | ~45% |
| D | Uncommon | ~30% |
| C | Rare | ~15% |
| B | Epic | ~7% |
| A | Legendary | ~2.5% |
| S | Mythic | ~0.5% |
1.3 Worked Example (100 base damage)
| Rank | Damage |
|---|---|
| E | 100 |
| D | 130 |
| C | 169 |
| B | 220 |
| A | 286 |
| S | 371 |
| SS | 520 |
1.4 Level Cap
- Default max level: 50
- After defeating ShadeKnight boss (Neverland) and claiming the "Boss Killer" achievement: max level increases to 55 for all pets
1.5 Level 50 → 55 Stat Gains
| Stat | Level 50 | Level 55 | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 100% | ~115% | +15% |
| Attack | 100% | ~115% | +15% |
| Defense | 100% | ~110% | +10% |
1. Red Rifts
Red Rifts are the core endgame activity and the only way to obtain Eclipse Knight, Undine, and Mechavolt.
1.1 What is a Red Rift?
A special instanced boss encounter accessed using Red Rift Portals. Inside, you face Mechavolt (9–13 billion HP) with the chance to catch top-tier monsters upon completion.
1.2 HP Scaling (Critical)
| Players in Rift | Approximate Mechavolt HP |
|---|---|
| 1 (solo) | ~9 billion |
| 3 | ~11 billion |
| 6–12 | ~13 billion |
More players = more HP. A weak player who deals no meaningful damage hurts the group by inflating HP without contributing. Private Server with 2–3 trusted players is the optimal approach.
1.3 How to Get Red Rift Portals
- Spire Tower Shop (main method): Up to 10 cheap Red Rift Portals per week; resets with weekly shop stock
- Wild Rifts (weekend only): Red Rifts occasionally spawn in the open world on weekends — random and contested
1.4 Monsters Available in Red Rifts
| Monster | Drop Frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Undine | Common | Best stun in the game |
| Mechavolt | Less common | High DPS; needs support |
| Eclipse Knight | Rare | Best endgame monster |
All players who dealt any damage qualify for XP and coins. Only one player gets the monster egg per run.
1.5 % Catch Rate Trick
- Pet Snack (Spire Shop) = +200% catch rate for 5 minutes
- Ripple Ball = standard catch ball
- Pet Snack + Ripple Ball = 100% catch rate on Undine and Mechavolt
- Use Pet Snack just before the boss dies, then immediately press E
1.6 Getting a "Carry"
A carry is when a strong player helps weaker players complete a Rift. The strong player does most of the damage; the weaker player just needs to deal any damage to qualify for loot.
How to find a carry:
- Open the official Catch a Monster Discord
- Post in #chat: "LF carry [X] Red Rifts, DM me"
- Share your Roblox username
- Many experienced players offer carries daily
1.7 Tideland Rift (Alternative)
If Red Rifts are inaccessible, the Tideland Rift (from Tideland Island) is an easier alternative that also contains Undine. Appropriate for mid-game players. Tideland Rift III is the harder version.
1.8 Psyber Rift (March 2026 update)
A separate Rift type featuring Psyber as boss with heavy damage reduction (~30 million per hit cap, compared to billions previously). Community has widely criticized the severity. Best strategy: solo or 2-player runs; sustained DPS over burst; Undine stun essential. No nerf announced as of March 2026.
1. Coins & Resources
1.1 Earning Coins
- Defeating wild monsters (scales with monster level)
- Boss kills (large coin rewards, boosted by Rainy weather)
- Selling unwanted monsters
- Daily login rewards
- Redeeming codes
1.2 Coin Priority (Beginners)
- Fusion costs — primary use of coins
- Pet gear rolling — only after endgame team is set up
- Avoid impulse spending on low-tier monsters
1.3 Stardust Shards / Stardust Clusters
- Used for evolution material crafting
- Drop from all bosses (~10–30%)
- Best farmed from ShadeKnight (Neverland) due to fastest respawn
- Bug note: Stardust Clusters had a 0% drop rate for a period; fixed in the Weather Update. Code "fixed" gave 3 Stardust Clusters as compensation.
1. Team Building
You fight with exactly 3 pets at once. Building a good team is about coverage and role balance — not just finding the strongest single monster.
1.1 Roles
- Carry / Glass Cannon — High damage, lower HP. Main source of kills; keep it alive.
- Bruiser — Balanced damage and HP. Reliable default for most content.
- Tank — High HP, lower damage. Soaks hits in longer fights (bosses, Nightmare dungeons).
Common shapes: 1 carry + 2 bruisers; or 1 carry + 1 bruiser + 1 tank for boss fights.
Remember: rank multiplies stats. An SS bruiser can out-damage an un-ranked "carry." Factor rank in when assigning roles.
1.2 Element Coverage Strategy
Stacking one element leaves you exposed. A party covering 2–3 different elements can threaten far more content. Aim to spread offensive coverage across as many elements as possible.
1.3 Sample Teams
Endgame Balanced (CAM Hub meta):
- Marigon (Water) + Mentawolf (Grass) + Avalanchewyrm (Ice)
- Covers Fire, Ground, Water, and Grass hard — all three are top meta pets
Raw Power Carry Core (CAM Hub):
- Void Lunafox (Normal) as SS carry + Marigon (Water) + Mentawolf (Grass)
February 2026 Meta (catchamonster.com):
- Eclipse Knight A + Undine B + Eclipse Knight A — strongest general team
- For Rift content: swap one Eclipse Knight for Kitsunine for extra stun
Early Game:
- Pick 3 different elements from whatever you've caught
- Favour the highest base-damage pet as your carry
- Check the tier list before sinking rank into any of them
1.4 Element Matchup Chart (repeated for reference)
| Element | Strong Against | Avoid Into |
|---|---|---|
| Fire | Grass, Ice | Water, Ground |
| Water | Fire, Ground | Ice, Grass |
| Grass | Water, Ground | Fire, Ice |
| Ice | Water, Grass | Fire, Ground |
| Ground | Fire, Ice | Water, Grass |
| Normal | — | — |
1.5 Team Builder Tool
The CAM Hub Team Builder (catchamonsterhub.com/team-builder) shows offensive coverage as a radar chart as you add pets — lets you see which enemy types your trio threatens and which it leaves open.
1. Tier List & Meta (February 2026)
1.1 S Tier — Endgame Meta
Eclipse Knight
- Role: Tank / Shield / DPS
- Why S Tier: Exceptional shield mechanic absorbs damage for the whole team. A+10 is the current pinnacle.
- How to get: Secret evolution of ShadeKnight — requires RNG gem combo (avg. 10–25 attempts)
- Best for: Everything — Spire, Rifts, Boss Farming
Undine
- Role: Stun / Support
- Why S Tier: Best stun ability in the game. Undine B-rank beats Tidevex A-rank in actual performance. Essential for controlling Rift bosses.
- How to get: Only from Red Rift or Tideland Rift — cannot be caught in the wild
- Best for: Rifts, Tidevex/Mechavolt boss fights
Kitsunine
- Role: Stun / DPS
- Why S Tier: Added in February 2026 Valentine update. Excellent stun, critical for Rift breathing room. A+10 possible. Gear: Gale Wingblade (Mythic).
- How to get: Valentine Rift / Kitsunine Rift
- Best for: Rift content, Spire floors 80+
1.2 A Tier — Strong Picks
Glazadon
- Role: Balanced Bruiser
- Why A Tier: Best naturally obtainable boss monster. Great HP/Damage balance. Not weak to Earth floor counter.
- How to get: Glazadon Egg from defeating Glazadon boss on Frost Isle (15 min respawn)
- Best for: Boss farming, mid-Spire
Mechavolt
- Role: High DPS
- Why A Tier: Massive damage output. Requires Undine stun support to perform best.
- How to get: Red Rift only
Tidevex
- Role: Water DPS/Tank
- Why A Tier: Strong for Tideland content. Max rank A from egg. Drops Vitalium Stones (Lunavox evolution).
- Note: Outclassed by Undine in most endgame scenarios
1.3 B Tier — Solid Mid-Game
Mountusk
- Role: Tank / Healer (Heal Pulse ability)
- Still useful for early-to-mid Spire. Falls off at Floors 80+.
- Weakness: Takes 200% damage from Earth-counter bosses (Floor 50 boss)
Flarecrest
- Role: DPS Glass Cannon
- Good burst damage for speed-killing bosses with a tank present
Starshade
- One of the earliest endgame targets. Good for new players. Outclassed in late game.
1.4 C Tier — Early / Niche
Lunavox
- ⚠️ Currently Bugged (as of Feb 2026) — NOT RECOMMENDED
- Expensive to evolve (Noctane B + Vitalium Stones)
- Taunt is broken; first skill deals 0 damage; range partially fixed but still inconsistent
- Recommendation: Wait for a full patch before investing materials
1.5 Hidden Tier — Flora
Flora (Florella)
- Technically the strongest wild monster in the game at D-rank (~60,000 damage — approximately 2× stronger than D-rank Gingerjoy at 28,000)
- Spawns ONLY during Aurora + Night weather simultaneously, on the small island LEFT of Neverland spawn point
- Rarest natural spawn in the entire game
1.6 Full Tier List Summary
| Tier | Monster | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Eclipse Knight | Tank/Shield | Best endgame. Secret evo from ShadeKnight. |
| S | Undine | Stun/Support | Rift essential. Only from Red Rift. |
| S | Kitsunine | Stun/DPS | Feb 2026 meta. Valentine Rift. |
| A | Glazadon | Bruiser | Best natural boss monster. |
| A | Mechavolt | DPS | Red Rift only. Needs support. |
| A | Tidevex | Water Tank | Solid, outclassed by Undine. |
| B | Mountusk | Healer/Tank | Great early Spire. Falls off late. |
| B | Flarecrest | DPS | Fast boss killer with a tank. |
| B | Starshade | Balanced | Good starter target. |
| C | Lunavox | Tank (bugged) | ⚠️ Wait for bug fixes. |
| Hidden | Flora | DPS | Rarest wild spawn. Aurora+Night only. |
1.7 Recommended Progression Path
- New player: Flarecrest/Glazadon → Mountusk → Tidevex → Eclipse Knight + Undine
- Endgame (Feb 2026): 2× Eclipse Knight A + 1× Undine B (general); Eclipse Knight A + Kitsunine A + Undine B (Rifts)
23. Flora — Rarest Wild Monster
Flora (also called Florella) is the most powerful wild monster in the game and the rarest natural spawn.
1.8 Stats
| Monster | Rank | Damage | HP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flora | D | 60,000 | High |
| Gingerjoy | D | 28,000 | Medium |
| ShadeKnight | D | ~25,000 | Medium |
| Glazadon | D | ~22,000 | High |
| Flaragon | D | ~20,000 | Medium |
Flora at level 55 (with Level 55 cap unlocked): ~69,000 damage.
1.9 Spawn Requirements (ALL must be met simultaneously)
- Weather: Aurora (rare weather pattern)
- Time of Day: Night (dark sky)
- Location: Small island to the LEFT of Neverland's spawn point
⚠️ Important: The Pet Index lists "Frost Isle" as Flora's location — this is WRONG. Player reports confirm she spawns on a small island to the left of Neverland's spawn point, not on Frost Isle.
1.10 How to Catch Flora
- Server hop until you find Aurora + Night (average 15–25 hops, 15–30 minutes)
- Unlock Neverland (complete questline)
- Travel to Neverland, then look LEFT for the small island
- Swim or fly to the island
- Explore — Flora may not spawn immediately; wait 5–10 minutes
- Battle: bring Level 30+ team; reduce HP to 10–20%
- Catch with Christmas Ball for best tier odds
- A-rank Flora is extremely rare (1–5% chance); most catches will be D or C rank
A-rank Flora is worth 10+ attempts due to her extraordinary power.
1.11 Server Hop Efficiency for Aurora + Night
| Servers Checked | Chance of Finding Aurora + Night |
|---|---|
| 1–5 | 10–20% |
| 10–15 | 40–60% |
| 20–30 | 80–95% |
Private server tip: Wait for the full 2–4 hour weather cycle — Aurora will appear with zero competition.
1. Weather System
The Weather System is a major update that introduced dynamic weather patterns, the exclusive pet Flora, and other boosts.
1.1 Key Features
- Server-specific: Each server has its own independent weather cycle
- Dynamic rotation: Weather changes every 15–30 minutes
- Significant boosts: Some weather provides +30% bonuses
- Exclusive spawns: Flora only appears in specific weather
- Strategy: Server hop to find desired weather rather than waiting
1.2 Weather Types & Effects
| Weather | Effect | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| ☀️ Day | None (aesthetic) | General gameplay |
| 🌙 Night | None (aesthetic) | Required for Flora (with Aurora) |
| ☁️ Cloudy | None (aesthetic) | General gameplay |
| 🌧️ Rainy | +30% Coin Boost | Gold farming, boss runs |
| ❄️ Snowy | +30% XP Boost | Power leveling, reaching Level 55 |
| 🌌 Aurora | Enables Flora spawn | Catching Flora (Night also required) |
| 🩸 Bloodmoon | Increased mutation rates | Shiny/Bloodlit hunting, Rift for Bloodlit Rift monsters |
1.3 Weather Boost Stacking
Boosts stack with other active boosts multiplicatively:
- Rainy weather + Event Coin Boost (100%) = 2.6× coin multiplier
- Snowy weather + XP Potion (100%) = 2.6× XP multiplier
1.4 Optimal Farming Schedules
- Coins: Farm during Rainy weather
- XP: Farm during Snowy weather
- Flora: Farm during Aurora + Night
- Mutations: Farm during Bloodmoon
1.5 How to Check Weather
Look at the sky in-game: Rain particles, snow particles, aurora lights are all visually indicated. The top of the screen also shows weather status.
1.6 Server Hopping for Weather
| Goal | Average Hops | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Rainy Weather | 3–5 | 3–5 min |
| Snowy Weather | 3–5 | 3–5 min |
| Aurora (any time) | 8–12 | 10–15 min |
| Aurora + Night | 15–25 | 15–30 min |
Private server tip: In a private server, wait for the full weather cycle (2–4 hours) — Aurora appears every 1–2 hours with no competition.
1.7 Coin Farming by Location (Rainy Weather)
| Location | Coins/Hour | Level Required |
|---|---|---|
| Starter Island | 5,000–8,000 | 10+ |
| Volcano Island | 10,000–15,000 | 20+ |
| Frost Island | 15,000–20,000 | 25+ |
| Neverland | 20,000–30,000 | 30+ |
ShadeKnight farm example (Rainy + Event boost):
- Base: 2,000 coins/kill × 1.3 (rain) × 2.0 (event) = ~5,200 coins/kill
- 10 kills/hour = ~52,000 coins/hour

Bosses & Spawn Times
Bosses are the primary source of better rewards, evolution materials, and exclusive monster eggs.
1.1 Spawn Schedule
Bosses spawn every 15 minutes, aligned to the UTC clock:
- :00, :15, :30, and :45 past every hour
- The timer is global — not a per-server random roll
- A boss is never more than 15 minutes away
- All zone bosses go live simultaneously when the clock ticks
1.2 Boss Zones
| Boss | Zone | Notable Drops |
|---|---|---|
| Flaragon | Volcano Peak | Flaragon Scales, Pyro Eggs, Fire Gems |
| Glazadon | Frost Isle | Glazadon Scales, Ice Eggs, Ice Gems |
| ShadeKnight | Neverland (deepest) | Stardust Shards, Candy Canes; Level 55 achievement |
| Mountusk | Special mountain pathway | Heal Pulse tank monster; Vitalium Stones |
| Flarecrest | Volcano Island | Fire Gems |
| Tidevex | Tideland | Vitalium Stones for Lunavox evolution |
| Frostwyrm | Spirit Grove | Unlocks Level 70 cap |
| Aurobull | — | Refined Ground Gems (for Solron) |
| Turkey Boss | Event Area | Seasonal (Thanksgiving) |
Additional boss zones: Tideland, Blossom Haven, Duneveil Isle, Dragon's Breath, Spirit Grove.
1.3 Individual Boss Guides
Flaragon (Volcano Boss)
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Fire |
| Location | Volcano Island, Peak Arena |
| Spawn Timer | 15 minutes |
| HP | ~5 million |
| Recommended Level | 20+ (solo viable at 25+) |
| Weakness | Water types (1.5× damage) |
| Guaranteed Drop | Pyro Egg (100%) |
| Direct Capture Rate | ~5–35% |
| A-tier stats | 620 ATK / 1,650 HP |
- Climb to the very top of Volcano Island — flat rocky platform at the peak
- Only one Pyro Egg drops; anyone can pick it up — position near where boss dies
- Bring 2 Water types; stay mobile; watch the arena edge
- Solo viable at Level 25+ with B-tier team
- Pyro Egg (20-min hatch): can hatch Flaragon, Blazelord, Noctane (rare legendary), ~5–10% A-tier chance
Glazadon (Frost Boss)
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Ice |
| Location | Frost Island, large icy arena |
| Spawn Timer | 15–20 minutes |
| HP | ~15 million |
| Recommended Level | 30+ |
| Weakness | Fire types (1.5× damage) |
| Guaranteed Drop | Ice Egg (100%) |
| A-tier stats | 700 ATK / 1,870 HP (~20–30% higher than most A-tiers) |
- MUST bring Fire types — this is the biggest damage swing in the game
- Group farming recommended; solo fights take 5–10 min+
- Ice Egg (30-min hatch): can hatch Frostbite, Icicle, Glazadon (~5–10% chance)
- Consider the single best naturally obtainable boss monster in the game
Mountusk (Tank Boss)
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Normal/Tank |
| Location | New Boss Area (mountain pathway from central area) |
| Spawn Timer | 15–20 minutes |
| HP | ~15M + healing phases |
| Recommended Level | 30+ |
| Special Drop | Spirit Branch Herb (very rare; needed for B-rank fusions — 8 herbs required) |
| A-tier stats | 500 ATK / 2,200 HP (highest HP in game) |
Healing Phase Mechanic:
- ~50% HP: First heal — must out-damage the healing
- ~25% HP: Second, stronger heal — final push
- Strategy: Bring maximum DPS (not tanks); burst damage during heal phases; coordinate with other players
Spirit Branch Herb: ~4 herbs per 30 kills (very low rate). Required for B-rank fusion of certain pets. Farm patiently.
ShadeKnight (Neverland Boss) — Best for Materials
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Dark/Shadow |
| Location | Neverland — run straight north from spawn to end of map |
| Spawn Timer | 5 minutes (fastest of all bosses) |
| HP | ~8,000–12,000 |
| Recommended Level | 25+ |
| Guaranteed Drop | Stardust Shard (1–2 per kill, 100%) |
| Event Drop | Candy Canes (5–15 per kill during Christmas) |
| Rare Drop | ShadeKnight Egg (~10–15%), Dark Gems (~5%) |
- Best boss for evolution materials — 12 Stardust Shards/hour (2× more efficient than any other boss)
- Dark Gems: 3× Refined Dark Gems required for Eclipse Knight evolution
- Server hop immediately after kill — 5-min respawn means another server almost certainly has it alive
- Find it: purple glow, stone pillars at deepest part of Neverland
- Solo at Level 30+ with Glazadon + Flarecrest; ~2-minute fight
Neverland Navigation:
- Set spawn point at Neverland Heal Pole on first visit (enables teleport from map)
- Best XP spot nearby: Nightclaw spawns at Island Center (704 XP each — best in game)
- Waterfall area (northwest): Dream Tane spawns + Flora spawn island visible to the LEFT
Recommended Teams by Boss
| Boss | Recommended Team |
|---|---|
| Flaragon | 2× Water types + 1 high DPS |
| Glazadon | 2× Fire types (Flaragon/Noctane) + 1 high DPS |
| Mountusk | 3× maximum ATK monsters (DPS over tanks) |
| ShadeKnight | Glazadon + Flarecrest/Gingerjoy + Mountusk (healer) |
Gem Sources by Boss (for Evolution)
| Gem Type | Primary Boss Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Gem | Blazelord (Volcano Island, ~15-min respawn) | Common supplement gem |
| Water Gem | Tidevex (Tideland Island) + Tideland Rift | Eclipse Knight needs 11× Refined Water |
| Ice Gem | Frostwyrm (Spirit Grove, primary) / Glazadon (secondary) | Spirit Grove = Level 65+ content |
| Plant/Grass Gem | Sproutusk (Forest/Grass Island) | Smaller quantities needed |
| Dark Gem | ShadeKnight (Neverland) | Eclipse Knight: 3× Refined Dark required |
| Ground Gem | Aurobull (Duneveil Isle) | 1–3 Refined Ground per kill; Solron needs 21× |
Eclipse Knight full gem requirement: 11× Refined Water + 3× Refined Dark + others (avg. 10–25 evolution attempts = 130–325+ Refined Gems total)
Gem crafting: 3× Raw Gem (same type) + 1× Stardust Shard = 1× Refined Gem (75% success = ~1.33 raws per refined on average)
Gem farming tips:
- Server-hop between public servers — kill boss, grab gems, switch, repeat (4–8 servers per respawn cycle)
- Use Rainy weather for gem farming runs (bosses also drop coins; +30% coin bonus compounds)
- Don't use Gem Boxes when you need a specific type (randomness is wasteful)
- Farm Aurobull for Refined Ground Gems directly (drops Refined occasionally, not just Raw)
1.4 Boss Preparation
- Bring rank. Boss HP rewards raw damage — high-rank pets do far more than a full team of low-rank ones.
- Bring the right element. Match your team to the boss's elemental weakness.
- Be in the zone early. Load into the area before the quarter-hour so you're hitting instantly on spawn.
1.5 Server Hop for Boss Farming
Use the Server Hop tool (catchamonsterhub.com/server-hop) to jump into a populated server just before a spawn. More players = faster boss kill. Arrive ~30 seconds early.
1.6 Mountusk — Special Notes
Mountusk has a Heal Phase mechanic and is a tanky boss. Excellent early-to-mid Spire pet; falls off at floors 80+.
1.7 ShadeKnight
- Located in Neverland's deepest area — run straight north from spawn until you can't go further; look for dark purple glow and stone pillars
- Fastest boss to kill (~2 minutes per fight when solo)
- 5-minute respawn timer (fastest of all bosses — server hop for ~10–12 kills/hour)
- Best source of Stardust Shards (guaranteed 1–2 per kill)
- Also drops Candy Canes (5–15 per kill during Christmas event) and ShadeKnight Egg (~10–15% drop rate)
- Defeating it once unlocks the "Boss Killer: ShadeKnight" achievement → Level 55 cap for all pets
- Stardust Shard farming comparison: ShadeKnight = 12 shards/hour; Mountusk = 6/hour; Flaragon/Flarecrest = 4/hour — ShadeKnight is 2× more efficient than any other boss for evolution materials
- Dark Gems: ShadeKnight also drops Dark Gems, a key supplement gem for Eclipse Knight evolution (3× Refined Dark Gems required)
Neverland Map Key Locations:
- Spawn Point (south): Heal Pole here — set spawn on first visit for fast teleport
- Island Center: Nightclaw spawns (704 XP each — best XP/hour in game), Blossom/Rosette Eggs
- Waterfall Area (northwest): Dream Tane spawns (5–7 spots); Flora spawn island visible to the LEFT
- Dolce Fay Territory (east): Mid-difficulty monsters
- Dark Forest Paths (north-center): Follow purple glow toward boss
- ShadeKnight Arena (north/deepest area): Large circular arena, stone pillars, no wild spawns
Neverland Monster XP:
| Monster | XP per Kill | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Dream Tane | 400 XP | Early Neverland |
| Dolce Fay | 550 XP | Mid-tier farming |
| Nightclaw | 704 XP | Best XP/hour in game |
| ShadeKnight (boss) | 300–500 XP + drops | Material farming |
1. Catching Monsters
Capture process:
- Approach the monster — your equipped pets auto-attack
- Weaken it to roughly 10–20% HP without defeating it
- Press E when the capture prompt appears
- Lower HP = higher catch rate
Catch rate tools:
- Christmas Ball — best catch odds, especially for rare pets
- Ripple Ball — standard catch ball
- Pet Snack (from Spire Shop) — +200% catch rate for 5 minutes; combine with Ripple Ball for 100% catch rate on Rift monsters (Undine, Mechavolt, Eclipse Knight)
5-second egg protection window (Rifts): After a Rift boss dies, only the player who dealt the killing blow can grab the egg for the first 5 seconds. After that, anyone can pick it up.
1. Controls
| Action | PC | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Movement | WASD / Arrow Keys | Virtual Joystick |
| Attack | Left Mouse Click | Tap Attack Button |
| Interact / Capture | E Key | Tap E Button |
| Jump | Spacebar | Jump Button |
| Mount Pet | M Key | Mount Button |
| Open Menu | Tab / Escape | Menu Icon |
1. Core Game Loop
Strip away the complexity and the loop is:
- Catch monsters. Each zone has unique spawns; explore to find and capture them.
- Build a party of three. You fight with exactly three pets simultaneously — the game rewards a balanced trio over one dominant pet.
- Fight content to grow. Clear zones, run Delve Trials dungeons, do Rifts, and hit timed bosses that spawn every 15 minutes.
- Rank up and evolve. Pets gain power as rank climbs (E → SS/S) and many evolve into stronger forms. Stronger pets unlock harder content with better rewards.
Every decision in the game traces back to doing this loop faster.
1. Eggs & Hatching
Eggs hatch into monsters and can contain rare or high-rank variants.
1.1 Egg Types
| Egg Type | Source | Can Hatch |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Egg | Volcano Island (craters, lava pools) | Blazelord, Ember, Noctane (rare legendary) |
| Ice Egg | Frost Island (caves, crystal fields) | Frostbite, Icicle, Glaciara |
| Water Egg | Water areas / Tideland | Water-type monsters |
| Boss Egg | Boss drops | High-tier monsters specific to that boss |
| Pyro Egg | Flaragon boss specifically | Fire-type monsters |
| Event Eggs | Limited events | Event-exclusive monsters |
1.2 Egg Hatch Times (Post-Weather Update)
| Egg Type | Old Time | New Time | Reduction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boss Eggs | 90 min | 30 min | −66% |
| Ice Eggs | 90 min | 30 min | −66% |
| Fire Eggs | 60 min | 20 min | −66% |
| Water Eggs | 30 min | 10 min | −66% |
| Event Eggs | 90 min | 30 min | −66% |
With hatching speed boosts: a 30-minute egg + 50% boost = 15 minutes.
1.3 Hatch Rate Improvements
- Luck Gamepasses improve odds of higher-rank hatches
- Friend Luck system (see below) also improves hatch rates
- Higher-tier eggs (Ice Egg, Boss Egg) have better base rates for rare/Huge mutations
1.4 Friend Luck System
| Friends in Server | Luck Bonus | A-Rank Chance | S-Rank Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 (Solo) | 0% (base) | 5% | 1% |
| 1 Friend | +10% | 6% | 1.2% |
| 2–3 Friends | +20% | 7% | 1.5% |
| 4+ Friends | +30% | 8% | 2% |
- Only applies to Roblox friends (not in-game contacts) in the same server simultaneously
- Caps at 30% bonus (4+ friends)
- Works in private servers
1. Elements & Type Chart
Every pet belongs to one of 6 elements: Normal, Grass/Plant, Water, Fire, Ice, and Ground/Earth. You field 3 pets, so spreading elements across your team is almost always better than stacking one type.
1.1 Offensive Matchup Chart
| Element | Strong Against | Weak Into (avoid) |
|---|---|---|
| Fire | Grass, Ice | Water, Ground |
| Water | Fire, Ground | Ice, Grass |
| Grass | Water, Ground | Fire, Ice |
| Ice | Water, Grass | Fire, Ground |
| Ground | Fire, Ice | Water, Grass |
| Normal | — (neutral) | — (neutral) |
Normal is not strong against anything, but nothing resists it either. Normal pets earn their slot on raw stats — several of the strongest monsters in the game are Normal-type.
Note: Some sources also list Electric-type as effective against Water and Flying-type enemies in specific content.
1. Endless Spire
The Endless Spire is the primary endgame system and the main source of Tower Gems — the currency for Arcane Spark Stones, Potential Serums, and Red Rift Portals.
1.1 Basics
- Location: Left of the Pet Center on Starter Island. Talk to NPC Echo (Tower Manager) to enter.
- Season reset: Every 10 days. You keep Tower Gems but lose floor progress.
- No checkpoints: If you die or exit completely, you restart from Floor 1.
- Room bosses: Every 10 floors there is a boss room.
1.2 Daily Tower Gems Income
- Approximately 4,800 Tower Gems per day from normal runs
Re-entry farming trick (bonus gems):
- Clear all enemies on a floor except one
- Exit the Spire with 1 enemy remaining
- Re-enter — you return to that floor
- Kill the last enemy to collect bonus Tower Gems
- Repeat for extra daily income
1.3 Best Teams by Floor Range
Floors 1–50:
- 3× Mountusk or Glazadon + Flarecrest
- ⚠️ Floor 49–50 boss deals 200% extra damage to Earth types — swap Mountusk out for Glazadon/Flarecrest for Floor 50
- Squad Swap trick: if your team wipes on a boss, equip a second team fast — sometimes boss HP does not reset
Floors 50–100:
- Eclipse Knight A + Undine B + Tidevex
- Eclipse Knight's shield mechanic dramatically improves survivability
- Undine's stun lets you interrupt dangerous boss attacks
Floors 100–104 (Current Wall, Feb 2026):
- 2× Eclipse Knight A+10 + Kitsunine A or Undine B
- Top players (Feb 2026) reaching Floors 108–110
- Leaderboard visible at Spire entrance
1.4 Floor 104 Difficulty Wall
Floor 104 is the current endgame wall due to a Sprouttusk enemy with no cooldown on its Seed Bomb attack (fires continuously; likely a bug). Workaround: maximum stun (Kitsunine + Undine) to interrupt. Eclipse Knight shields absorb some damage. No fix as of Feb 2026.
1.5 Floor 50 Boss Counter
The Floor 50 boss deals 200% extra damage to Earth types. Mountusk (Earth type) gets one-shot.
Solutions:
- 3× Glazadon — balanced HP/damage, no Earth penalty
- 3× Flarecrest — glass cannon, kills boss before being hit
- 2× Mountusk + 1× Glazadon — let Glazadon tank the boss
1.6 Spire Shop Priorities (Feb 2026)
| Item | Cost | Weekly Stock | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arcane Spark Stone | 500 Tower Gems | 32/week | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Priority |
| Red Rift Portal | Cheap | 10/week | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High |
| Potential Serum | 500 Tower Gems | Very limited | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High |
| XP Potions | 300 Tower Gems | Available | ⭐⭐⭐ Medium |
| Pet Snack | — | Available | ⭐⭐⭐ Medium (for Rift catches) |
| Aquilune pet | 12,000 Tower Gems | 1/week | ⭐⭐ Niche |
Arcane Stone price: Reduced from 900 → 500 Tower Gems on February 20, 2026 (major F2P improvement).
1.7 General Spire Tips
- Focus fire small mobs first to reduce incoming damage before boss rooms
- Always fill all 3 pet slots — a second or third pet can carry after the first dies
- Log off inside the Spire only if you have reached your target floor for the day
- Plan big purchases around the 10-day reset cycle; gems carry over but weekly shop stock resets independently
- Private Server Spire: run in a private server for less interference
1. Enhancement System (EM%, Arcane Stones)
Enhancement is the layer on top of rank, level, and evolution that takes a good monster to exceptional.
1.1 EM% (Enhancement Modifier)
EM% is a stat multiplier applied when a monster is evolved. Higher EM% = better stats.
| EM% Value | Quality |
|---|---|
| 140% | Minimum (floor) |
| 155–169% | Below average |
| 170–189% | Average |
| 190–209% | Good — target for competitive play |
| 210–220% | Excellent — best in slot |
| 220% | Maximum (ceiling) |
Targets: Aim for 190%+ on main team monsters. For your top carry (e.g., Eclipse Knight A+10), aim for 210%+.
EM% is set at evolution and can only be changed with a Chaos Potion.
1.2 Chaos Potion
Rerolls EM% to a new random value (140–220 range). The result can be higher OR lower.
- Community average: 6–8 potions before hitting a satisfying EM%
- Some players spend 15+ without reaching their target
- Strategy: Decide on your target EM% before starting (190% is a solid stop for most). Use one at a time; stop when you hit or exceed your target.
How to get Chaos Potions: Event boss drops (rare), Event Shop during limited events, craft using Reversion Potions as a component. Cannot be purchased from the permanent shop.
⚠️ Reversion Potion warning: There is a known bug where pets can disappear after using a Reversion Potion (which reverts an evolution back to base form). Do not use on your best monsters until the bug is confirmed fixed.
1.3 Potential Serums
Directly boost a monster's stat potential, independent of EM%.
| Detail | Info |
|---|---|
| Effect | Increases monster stat potential |
| Cost | 500 Tower Gems each (Spire Shop) |
| Stock | Very limited weekly supply |
| Success Rate | Decreases with each use on the same monster |
Strategy: Do not dump all Serums on one monster at once. Use no more than 3–4 per monster before moving on — success rate degrades per use.
1.4 Arcane Spark Stones (B → A Rank Fusion)
To ascend a monster from B-rank to A-rank, you need:
| Item | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Same-species B-rank monsters | 5× |
| Arcane Spark Stones | 17× |
Arcane Spark Stone cost (as of February 20, 2026):
- 500 Tower Gems each (reduced from 900)
- 32 available per week in Spire Shop
- Cost per B→A fusion: 17 × 500 = 8,500 Tower Gems
1.5 A+10 Ascension (Eclipse Knight and others)
After reaching A-rank, use individual Arcane Spark Stones to ascend:
- Each "+1" level = 1 Arcane Spark Stone
- Maximum: A+10 (10 stones total)
- A+10 significantly enhances base stats and skill potency
- Eclipse Knight at A+10 can survive Spire floors 100+ and Red Rifts
1.6 Weekly Tower Gem Budget
| Expense | Cost per Week |
|---|---|
| All 32 Arcane Stones | 16,000 Tower Gems |
| Daily earning (baseline) | ~33,600 Tower Gems/week (~4,800/day) |
| Remaining for Serums + Rifts | ~17,600 Tower Gems |
1. Evolution System
Evolution transforms a base monster into a more powerful form. Many evolutions branch into different elemental variants depending on the materials used.
1.1 Currently Evolvable Bosses (main game)
- Flaragon (Fire Boss) — evolves into elemental variants
- Glazadon (Ice Boss) — evolves into elemental variants
- Gildron → Solron (Valentine event)
- ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight (secret evolution)
- Dragon Mount → Fire Dragon or Necro Dragon
1.2 Evolution Materials
| Material | Source | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Stardust Shard / Stardust Cluster | All boss kills (~10–30% drop rate); ShadeKnight fastest | Required for all evolutions |
| Raw Fire/Water/Plant/Ice Gem | Boss drops (element-matched bosses) | Base evolution material (~40–50% success) |
| Refined Fire/Water/Plant/Ice Gem | Craft from 3× Raw Gem + 1× Stardust Shard | Higher success rate (75–90%) |
Gem crafting recipe:
3x Raw Gem (same type) + 1x Stardust Shard = 1x Refined Gem
1.3 Flaragon Evolution Chains
Flarecub → Flaragon → branches into:
- Flaragflora (Grass/Plant variant) — using Plant gems
- Flaragfrost (Ice variant) — using Ice gems
- Flaragaqua (Water variant) — using Water gems
- Flaragblaze (Fire variant) — using Fire gems
1.4 Glazadon Evolution Chains
Icevolf → Glazadon → branches into:
- Glazadonbloom (Plant)
- Glazadonwave (Water)
- Glazadonflare (Fire)
- Glazadonfroz (Ice)
- (Additional variants possible)
1.5 Eclipse Knight — Secret Evolution
- Path: ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight
- Materials required: 3× each Refined Gem type + 8× Refined Water Gems
- Success rate: RNG-based; average 10–25 attempts
- Why it matters: Eclipse Knight is the #1 endgame monster (S Tier)
1.6 Solron Evolution
- Path: Gildron → Solron
- Materials: 21× Refined Ground Gems (farm from Aurobull)
- Obtained via Valentine 2026 event chain
1.7 Evolution Type Comparison (Fire / Water / Plant)
| Stat | Fire 🔥 | Water 💧 | Plant 🌱 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Boost | +50% | -20% | +30% |
| HP Boost | -30% | +60% | +30% |
| Defense Boost | -10% | +20% | +15% |
| Best For | Bosses, speed | Spire, survivability | Balanced / new players |
Always use Refined Gems — failed evolutions permanently consume all materials.
1.8 Evolution step-by-step
- Farm Stardust Shards from ShadeKnight (fastest respawn; ~10–30% drop)
- Collect Raw Gems from element-matching bosses
- Craft Refined Gems at the Evolution Station
- Open Inventory → Evolution tab → select monster → choose element gem path → check Success Rate (aim for 75%+) → confirm
1.9 Best Farming Route for Materials
ShadeKnight Speed Farm (~5 min/cycle):
- Teleport to Neverland
- Go to the deepest area (end of map)
- Defeat ShadeKnight (fast fight)
- Collect Stardust Shard + Candy Canes
- Server hop for instant respawn
Expected per hour: 8–12 Stardust Shards, 15–25 Raw Gems, 3–5 Refined Gems (crafted)
1. Fusion System
Fusion is the primary progression mechanic. Combining 5 same-tier monsters creates 1 monster of the next higher tier.
Location: Pet Center on Starter Island (interact with the Fuse NPC)
Formula: 5 Same-Tier Monsters + Coins = 1 Higher-Tier Monster (random species)
1.1 Fusion Cost Breakdown
| Starting Tier | Result Tier | Coin Cost per Fusion | Monsters Required |
|---|---|---|---|
| E | D | 100 coins | 5 E-tier |
| D | C | 300 coins | 5 D-tier |
| C | B | 700 coins | 5 C-tier |
| B | A | 1,500 coins | 5 B-tier |
1.2 Total Cost: E → A (from scratch)
| Target Tier | E-tier Monsters Needed | Total Coins |
|---|---|---|
| D | 5 | 100 |
| C | 25 | 600 |
| B | 125 | 4,100 |
| A | 625 | ~17,500 |
One A-tier monster from scratch requires roughly 3,125 E-tier monsters and ~17,000 coins. In practice you'll catch higher-tier monsters naturally, reducing this number significantly.
1.3 Key Fusion Rules
- All 5 must be the same tier — cannot mix tiers
- Species doesn't matter — you can mix any species of the same tier
- Result species is random from the pool available at that tier
- Fusion is instant — no wait time
- Fusion is irreversible — the 5 input monsters are consumed permanently
1.4 Shiny Preservation Mechanic (Critical)
1 Shiny + 4 normal same-rank monsters = 1 Shiny result
The Shiny property transfers through fusions. You only need 1 Shiny — using 5 shinies in one fusion is wasteful. Start with any E-rank Shiny and fuse up through all tiers to eventually get a Shiny A-rank.
Never sell or fuse away a Shiny as fodder. Enable pet locking to prevent accidental Auto-Sell.
1.5 Fusion Strategies
- Continuous Farm: Catch everything, immediately fuse E into D as they accumulate, chain upward. Best for efficiency.
- Batch Method: Accumulate monsters, then do massive fusion sessions when storage is nearly full.
- Targeted Approach: Research which species appear in the fusion pool at your target tier, only fuse when possible results include your target.
1.6 Fusion Mistakes to Avoid
- Fusing a Shiny as one of the 4 "normal" slots (only need 1 Shiny)
- Accidentally fusing your Aquron mount
- Fusing pets with gear still equipped (gear gets stuck — bug)
- Not accounting for boss eggs, which can give high-tier monsters directly
1. Game Passes
| Pass | Price (Robux) | Effect | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pet Inventory +100 | 59 | +100 storage slots | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MUST BUY — best value in the game |
| Ultra Luck (+300%) | 599 | 4× base catch/hatch luck | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended |
| 2x EXP | 799 | Double all XP gained permanently | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended |
| VIP Pass | 199 | Status badge + minor perks | ⭐⭐ Optional (support developers) |
| Luck +100% | 299 | 2× base luck | Skip — get Ultra Luck instead |
| Extra Luck (+200%) | 999 | 3× base luck | Skip — Ultra Luck is better value at lower price |
1.1 Luck Pass Details
| Luck Level | Catch Rate | Est. Shiny Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Base (0%) | 1× | ~1 in 1,000 |
| +100% | 2× | ~1 in 500 |
| +200% | 3× | ~1 in 333 |
| +300% (Ultra Luck) | 4× | ~1 in 250 |
⚠️ Luck passes do NOT stack. Only your highest-tier pass applies. Don't buy multiple luck passes.
⚠️ Luck Gamepasses do NOT affect: Secret evolution RNG (ShadeKnight → Eclipse Knight), Enhancement success rates, or Gear quality rolls. They only affect catch/hatch grade quality.
1.2 Recommended Purchase Order
- Pet Inventory +100 (59 Robux) — Cheapest, most universally useful. Storage fills up fast.
- Ultra Luck (599 Robux) — Best luck-per-Robux ratio. Major catching and shiny hunting improvement.
- 2x EXP (799 Robux) — Cuts leveling time in half permanently. Stacks with XP potions.
- VIP Pass (199 Robux) — Optional; mostly cosmetic/support.
Total recommended: 1,457 Robux
1.3 F2P Viability
The game is fully playable F2P. All monsters, max level, all bosses, and all events are accessible without spending. Passes speed things up but are never required.
F2P tips: Use all codes for free items and boosts; farm efficiently during weather events; focus on gameplay over collecting rate.
1. Islands & Zones
1.1 Island Progression
| Island | Level Range | Monster Tiers | Access |
|---|---|---|---|

| Splasher | E–D | Water edge / shore | — |
Getting Aquron: Travel to the beach, look along the shoreline. Aquron spawns in and out of water. Press M to mount and swim to other islands. Without Aquron, you are stuck on Starter Island.
1.2 Volcano Island
| Monster | Tier Range | Spawn Area | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ember | D–C | Lower slopes | Common fire type |
| Flameling | D–C | Throughout | General fire spawn |
| Blazelord | C–A | Mid volcano | Boss-like wild spawn |
| Pyrax | C–B | Upper volcano | Stronger fire type |
| Flaragon (boss) | — | Volcano Peak | Fire Boss; Flaragon Scales + Pyro Eggs |
Fire Egg locations: Crater rim, inside volcano, mid-slope caves, lower lava pools. Respawn every 10–20 minutes. Can hatch Blazelord, Ember, Noctane (rare), and other fire types.
1.3 Frost Island
| Monster | Tier Range | Spawn Area | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frostbite | C–B | Throughout | Common ice type |
| Icicle | C–B | Ice formations / crystal clusters | — |

| Cobaltwing | Rarest wild spawn in Spirit Grove |
1.5 Spirit Grove (advanced)
1. Leveling Guide
1.1 Level System
| Level Cap | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 40 (base) | No requirement (original cap) |
| 55 | Defeat ShadeKnight → claim "Boss Killer" achievement |

| 11–20 | 2–3 hours |
| 21–30 | 4–6 hours |
| 31–40 | 8–12+ hours |
1.3 Best Leveling Spots
Early Game (Levels 1–15) — Starter Island
- Grassy Plains (Treemo, Leaflet): easy, high spawn density
- Forest Edge (Woodliz): easy
- Beach (Aquron/Splasher): acquire Aquron here
Mid Game (Levels 15–25) — Volcano Island
- Lower Volcano (Ember, Flameling): medium
- Mid Volcano (Blazelord): best XP in Volcano
- Boss Arena (Flaragon): high XP + egg reward simultaneously
Late Game (Levels 25–35) — Frost Island / Spire

| 55 | New max (ShadeKnight achievement) |
| 70 | New max (Frostwyrm achievement, Spirit Grove) |
